If Ally is so confident Walter will get in walk away and wait for them, you can't have your cake and eat it.

To be honest McColl should keep his mouth shut until he's standing next to Walter on the front steps with the deal done.

He's still there then so somebody telling porkies and it ain't Green this time. Only thing wrong with that is saying he's the best CEO we've had in years, it wouldn't be hard would it.

I think everybody needs to take a breath and step back from the brink of the abyss because that's the only place we are heading on this crazy plan of starving the club of income. Like him or hate him Green did the hard work and put the money up when nobody else would( yes he did GS ). Would any of us just walk away after all that without any compensation for himself or his investors I know I wouldn't. But that's what the majority of Rangers fans seem to want Green to do, why because Walter&Co turned up late with no more money than Green himself, playing the, for the good of Rangers card without any evidence that Green doesn't have the good of the club at heart except to say he's not a Rangers man (remember who helped get us in this mess to start with). So I will say again if you want him out pay him and the get f#^k on with the job at hand. Because unlike windbag Leggo I didn't sleep any better last night in fact I slept worse,because it's went from us against them to a civil war and Rangers don't do anything any better than civil war and if it's left to continue nobody wins this war.

Someone should put this thread on FF, just so I can get a laugh on this miserable wet Friday. Any slight question of Walter & Co on there and you get dragged to the pyre and thrown on. If Walter & Co want us so bad buy us it won't take 20mill, I would think 12mill would get the job done, it's still a bloody good deal for a debt free Rangers and the full backing of the support with none of the stigma of Newco hanging over them. It's a game of poker will be interesting to see who blinks first.

God knows Gazza I've gave up trying to guess what's going on. Green offered him the chairmanship.

I'm sure he said he wouldn't be on the board as it would be a conflict of interests, the board should be working for the betterment of the club not the profit of the shareholders. Sounds a bit to good to be true but you never know.

There's going to be a football board why don't the fans group sit down with Green and ask him for representation on that board.

That's the great thing about no one having more than 15% of shares no one man can get control. On the flip side it an also lead to infighting and shareholders ganging together to get there own way. I really hope that he sticks to his plan not to have shareholders on the board, and instead the best men for the job or women in case BM is reading.

It would take the board to sack him and as no investors are meant to be on the board, I'm not sure how they would go about it.

That's the one thing I don't expect Green to be up to, when it comes to the money everything will be above board this time.

He's got a point, would it not be better for Walter to take the chairmanship and encourage his backers to get involved, with him in the chair they can be sure their investment would be looked after.
