  1. The bit at the bottom cracks me up that the surplus finds have been given to help feed school children in Malawi" so, instead of Doing the decent thing and sending all the funds to the kids, we will stick a statement in the herald, which is made up from a cock tail pick an mix quotes and will be read by a few dozen people! Now that's funny!! That definitely sticking it to us!

  2. Brilliant! In non Twitter speak:

Laxey partners chairman Colin Kingsnorth confirms he has sold his 16% stake to the Three Bears: "I sold because a fans-based group were hopefully going to be the best placed to take on Ashley's power. After Ashley removed Norman Crighton, Ashley's most vocal critic, it was obvious David Somers was just a wet fish agreeing anything Ashley wanted. I am sure the Three Bears are an upgrade on us for fans and hopefully this is the start of the ownership being in the right hands."

slap in the face for somers and his boxing day begging email!!

  3. the same as the previous emails got there. Who in there wants rid of him. I've seen speculation it's Ashley behind it but what would he gain from it ?

Revenge? maybe he led Ashley to believe that the SFA would roll over and he would buy Rangers. Also, maybe he didn't like the fact he was being told that his original loan was acceptable(that original email that was leaked?).

  4. BBC Radio Scotland have been broadcasting a series of Chick Young interviewing the surviving national managers, wee Craigie got an hour on Saturday. Richard Wilson has lifted/précised the piece from Brown's PR production. I listened and Gough got it in the neck. Apparently, as Roxburgh's assistant, Craig had observed Gough's behaviour in team bonding, found it lacking and noted his lack of willingness to comply to team uniformity.

I seem to remember big Richard refused to participate in Roxburgh's organised sessions of Trivial Pursuits and reacted angrily to Craig Brown standing at the dressing room door, armed with a black ink marker to darken tie-ups.

Anyways, Craig was determined to manage the team on his terms and listening to Craig, most successfully so. All reversals were a combination of Lady Luck refusing to smile and the prevailing statistics NOT bearing the expected fruit. Even that humiliating 3-zip defeat by mighty Morocco was unfair. They were African champions, have a population 7 times the size of Scotland, and Craig Burley wrecked Brown's careful plans by being sent off.

man, that's mental to think his career was ended because he wouldnt participate in trivial pursuits sessions. Brown makes it sound very sinister as if he slipped the managers wife a length or something!

  5. You seriously think he has been sitting on his hands?

well he's the first to complain about others who get it wrong, yet when we needed him and the other millionaire Rangers fans, they were found wanting! Please bear in mind like many other Rangers fans i;m just getting frustrated that these guys that we looked to save Rangers have went quiet. i know many may turn round and say they are working behind the scenes but to the common supporter i see no evidence!

  6. i asked this a while ago when shares were being sold left right and center. i mean, how far do we actually have to sink before one of our big fans come in and do the business. King has been outspoken in the past about people in charge yet always seems unable to put his money where his mouth is.

  7. To get us back into the prem i would take Souness. I know he wouldn't be popular but for the job in hand, he would take no prisoners any player that he deemed not to be giving sa hundred percent would be out. plus if we did meet celtic, the idea of him going toe to toe with the goblin would be a great spectacle to see!

  8. and here's the deal if Ally is struggling with the team he put out today then something is very wrong. That Rangers side contained 4 Scotland internationals and a Northern Ireland international. There is experience in that squad, they should be motivated, determined , fitter and tactically aware in what they have to do. they should be able to grind out results for days like this. Instead they got turned over by players who were not good enough to be pro. They have to work during the week and then they train maybe twice aweek before the game, whilst our (full time) players have all week to hone their talents and prepare, if our manager cannot get them prepared then maybe we do need to look elsewhere!
