  1. Jordan Thompson trains with the first team all the time does he not?
  2. The same guy also told me that we would be signing Michael McGovern aswell a few weeks back. I'll await to see if any of them come true.
  3. Only one I can come across guys is Lee Hodson I believe he may have been on loan to them.
  4. The social media guys do a great job for the club now.
  5. Got a text from a mate telling me we are signing a right back from Kilmarnock purely for cover, a Northern Irish boy. No idea who that is. His info comes via a well known agent. Edit: only one I can find is Lee Hodson who was on loan to Killie I believe.
  6. Sometimes it's better sourcing a better "free" player and paying them decent wages to come and be a success then it is to "pay" for someone and give them less wages. A transfer budget doesn't have to mean buying players.
  7. I'd expect this is a big week behind the scenes for our transfer targets given the gaffer wants the new boys in as early as possible and we are back for pre season on Saturday I believe. Also Barrie McKay has been given an extra week off he's not back till the 25th.
  8. Not being funny but how do they ban "Rangers fans" from said club. I'm sure I speak for us all and say we don't stoat into clubs wearing the full kit ............ Infact two young kids my club days are over but my point still stands.

    Arthur Numan

I met him in Braehead after he finished playing, both our missus were in trying on clothes and he sat next to me with his baby. We had a good 5 minute chat about Rangers, I told him he was still fit enough to play having watched him in a charity event and he was saying how his time was over and it was time for the younger generation. A complete gentleman he was. I also heard a 'rumour' that he turned up to the Arthur Numan Loyal annual dance one year and covered the bar bill for the night. No idea if true but wouldn't surprise me if it was.
  10. I remember watching Numan at the World Cup (or Euro's) after we signed him ............. Oaft the man was world class. He was a stand out LB at the tournament.
  11. I'd challenge it all by taking every single one of them to court for slander.
  12. I don't think so but there is access from the other end to drive past the main stand. Certainly would be quicker than heading through mount florida. Edit: I'm pretty sure it's not the only access point for entry, surely that's a hazard. Edit again: Checked google images. YES there is exactly the same tunnel at the Hibs end.
  13. Nice timing. Now let's get to work on today's shambles.
  14. Can't join as it's my daughters birthday party however praise to you guys for the work you are putting in, I'm sure I'm not the only bear who is thankful for the hours all you guys have sacrificed. Stories that my 5 year old son will grow up to hear just like I have done these past few years. Cap Doffed Bears.
  15. What puzzles me is this ..... The riot vans were clearly not around the stadium so I can only assume they were parked at the Police Station on Aitkenhead Road (if not then it's even more baffling). Now what side of Hampden is the Police Station situated? At the Hibs end. Now what fans were now starting to leave the stadium? Us ofcourse. So by process of elimination what side of the ground would have ZERO traffic and therefore give a clear run to the stadium? You get my point by now .......
  16. I'll be really disappointed if the rumours of Shiels getting another year are true. For me even coming off the bench he hasn't justified it. He may have looked decent coming on at 2/3 nil up at the start of the season but when we needed a change he hasn't provided it. Best shout I hear about him at the cup final was "come on paperweight" .......... sums him up for me. Thanks and all the best should be the next move.
  17. It seems to me like the board have had this ready to drop only for the relegation and that clause above posted by FS cementing the decision.
  18. The Juniors, really TB? I've never seen them but I'd have thought more in line with our Championship level.
  19. Barrie for me too. A very hard position to keep up the level of consistency he has shown all season.
  20. How good is McGovern with the ball on the deck? I'm assuming very good if we are interested.
  21. It's good to debate, thankfully I couldn't care what anyone thinks of what I'm doing for my son. Some see it as "lining that parasite's pocket" I see it as building a priceless memory bank for myself and my son. I don't buy my own tops that's my compromise, I also used to spend quite a bit on training gear for running/workout out which has also stopped, again that's my compromise. I'm also confident that 'some' of the "boycotters" still go and spend money in Sports Direct because it's cheaper than most sports shops, or USC, or Kitbag, or Debenhams, or Tesco, or Frasers.
