  1. This is not just a very sad day for Rangers but also for Scottish football in general, I dont expect the myopic mopes and supporters of other clubs blinded by hatred and jealousy to understand that though. This will be the stick used to beat us with forever more .
  2. Fair point, but there is only really one direction we can go now , surely ? I dont think it could get much worse .
  3. To be honest none of this is about if Gunslinger is right or wrong , me personally I dont give a flying f*ck who was right or who was wrong , the only thing I care about is Rangers football club and what the future holds. Newco is the only route left open for us now, we need to embrace it and get behind the new company that will take our battered old club forward . If Gunslinger or anyone else does not want to get behind the new company that will take our 140 year old club forward then that is their decision and good luck to them with whatever they do in the future. For me Rangers are a football club formed in 1872, formed not as a business but purely as a football club , that football club will carry on regardless of what company finances it and so will my support and love of the club . 1872 , Rangers then , Rangers now , Rangers forever .
  4. This is a great article from the TRS site - Rising from the ashes (by author Bob MacCallum) http://www.therangersstandard.co.uk/...from-the-ashes This is a sad and dark day for our club, we have a long difficult road to travel to get back to where we want to be but we are the Rangers and we WILL once again rise from the ashes and reclaim our spot as the countrys biggest and best club.
  5. Would be good if Green could do a deal with Rapid to pay the fee at a later date , but I think that would leave other creditors even more pissed off and likely to vote against us . Just a really sad situation for our club to be in
  6. That was one of my first thoughts , great night and atmosphere esp after Hateley got red carded . Big Nisbet deserved that goal and I think that turned out to be his last match for the club or was not long after that his career ended . Another of my favourite nights was the same season, the Marsellie game at Ibrox , what a fight back by us against one of the best teams ive watched at Ibrox .
  7. Maybe that was included in the proposal before Green had the full funding in place, to cover any shortfall. I honestly dont know but Green says the full funding is now in place and the season ticket money is not needed for the CVA trade . I dont see what the problem is .
  8. Mr Green gave an interview where he said that ST money will be put into an escrow account and would not be used to pay the cost of the CVA trade, in the interview he was not going over the fine details of the CVA . The CVA says .. However, in the event that the Company‘s trading revenue is insufficient to meet the CVA Trading Costs, and subject to the appointment of Charles Green being made in accordance with paragraph 4.21, the Joint Administrators may request Sevco to consent (such consent not to be unreasonably withheld) to the use of monies in the Account to meet the CVA Trading Costs, as is anticipated. Green assures us that he has the funds to meet the trading cost , if that's true then then there is no means for the administrators to request money from the account . With the funds for the trade already secured Green was perfectly right (without going into fine details of the CVA) to say that season ticket money would be paid into a safe account and that he could not get his mits on it ... That is what im saying , im not saying the CVA proposal is false.
  9. If Green already has the money in place to meet the CVA trading cost, meaning there is no reason for the admins to request money from the account then he is not Contradicting himself. Having the money to meet the cost rules out the means for money from the account to be used .
  10. But I very much doubt that Mr Green has lied about putting ST moneys into an escrow account .
  11. I mean the money is there to meet the cost not that it's already been paid . TBH Im not the right person to debate this with you because I simply dont know enough about the process to do so .
  12. Ok im out my depth with all this CVA stuff but from what I can make of it is any money held in the account can be requseted by the admins if the CVA Trading Costs is not met . I believe that the CVA Trading Costs has been met so the ST money will not be needed . Also the small issue that NO season ticket moneys has been paid into the account yet so cant be used anyway. Like I said im well out my depth with this so probably got that all wrong
  13. I agree it does not seem the best strategy but remember it was us the fans who demanded he gave some details . Dammed if he does dammed if he doesn't
  14. You could be right mate , I really do hope you are wrong .
  15. I dont think Mr Green is a stupid man, to bareface lie about ST money going to an "escrow" account would be an absurd stupid move from Green . I honestly cant see him telling porkie pies about something as important to the fans as that.
  16. Surely the CVA offers them the best return , I thought that was the whole point of the CVA. The admins must know what return creditors would get from liquidation then offer a CVA that gives a better return, no ?
  17. Maybe im being naive but that sounds like a good deal for us .
  18. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?43709-Green-eyeing-quick-exit There's a statement in that thread where Green says .... “No, I won’t be getting £4m or anything like it for my trouble. I’ll be getting £2m in shares, not cash. No, I’m not waiting on the season-ticket money because that’s going into an ESCROW account and I won’t be able to get my mitts on it.
  19. Gattusso and Davis together in midfield could be fun to watch, they would be IMO the best midfield partnership in the country .
  20. Having an old head on board will help to bring on the youngsters , esp one with the experience of Gattusso.
  21. I hope you have your helmet on
  22. That works both ways though mate , im guessing that it will all work out and the CVA will be accepted .
  23. Green seems convinced that if the CVA fails on Thursday that the club will go immediately to a newco, I dont think HMRC would have any time to block that move .. I could be wrong ofcourse
  24. Can I ask for what reason do you think a clusterfuck will be the likely out come ?
  25. What we need right now is for the creditors to accept the CVA and let Green get to work rebuilding the club ...It's to late now for anything else IMO
