No, but complaining about not getting defenders in before a midfielder, when the window isn't even open is more than just a touch premature.

If you were making that same statement on the last day of the window I would be wholeheartedly agreeing with you.  But clubs don't have the luxury of bringing in recruits based on hierarchical structure of needs.  They can't be saying "right, need two CB's... don't sign anyone until we get two CB's".  Response "But boss, Messi just said he wants to play for us for free".  Boss "we need CB's first so don't be signing anyone till we get those CB's".

Point being - you can hardly complain about the lack of defensive recruits, or the recruitment of a midfielder prior to a defender, when the window hasn't even opened.

My point is don't waste money on wages for a player we don't need, save it for some good defenders. We don't have a lot of funds as far as I know.

It's almost worse for them in that this is meant to be them flying relatively high and when it comes down to it, they are Colin Nish and it's only going to go downhill from here.

At least we know we are poor but can only get better.

I would have said that last season :(.

  3. Gave up at half time watching it. Murty plays the same formation that just plays into Roger's hands. Other teams with so called lesser players can go to Parkhead and put up a better display. If it is Gerrard let's hope he can bring some motivation, belief and organisation.

  4. I think I am a bit blasé about this next Celtic game. That is I am not confident we will win but I don't really care if we lose. its  all up in the air as regards a new manager/coach but like most I live in hope that we start to turn the corner very soon.
