  1. Aye, because none of our other centre halves have made any mistakes, ever. Come on.

He made by far the least errors out of all our shambolic defenders.

Talk me through the logical connection between "Moshni is a liability" and "none of our other centre halves have made any mistakes, ever"?

The fact that Zaliukas has been a disappointment so far and McCulloch is an exploding time bomb doesn't have anything to do with the fact that Moshni was an accident that didn't wait to happen. He happened again and agian and again. If we only had half the points he's cost us, we'd have secured second place weeks ago.

  2. Even if it is the Tunis side, they are a big club did have a 60,000 stadium. They are Tunisian champions and would wipe the floor with our shower.

And if it is Germany well that shows you good he is.

People can slate him but he was our best defender by far.

except when he was an effing liability and cost us games with his antics.

  3. The problem with closed threads is when one reads something on them that is a lie about oneself and an no longer respond.

I just read the following and cannot let it go:

"This thread started as an attack on the SNP but was posted in Rangers chat for some reason. It would have been better if the OP had been honest about his motivation for posting and put it in the lounge."

I can't vote for the SNP because I live in England but my entire family has moved from Labour to SNP in the last decade (and yes that includes lifelong Rangers fans before anyone jumps up against them).

I live in England so I can't vote for the SNP but the attacker on me might be very surprised at who I would vote for (except I used to live in O'Hara's constituency, so maybe not...) but it certainly would not by Labour or Tory. Anyway, that's beside the point - I would have posted exactly the same if the tweets had come from any other party. I guess I'd have to get the Greens to change their name.....However my point here is that it was not an attack on the SNP it was an attack on tweets by an SNP councillor and I would have posted the same had it been from a Labour or Tory councillor's tweets.

Best not to think you know other people before questioning their honesty and fire off accusations when you haven't a clue what they are thinking or what their motivations are. I posted it in Rangers Chat because the tweets were about Rangers footballing history and claiming we had a history of only three seasons (including this one).

In that case, if I jumped the gun by including you among the knee-jerk anti-SNP mob, I apologise and retract the accusation.

  4. Every thread is spoiled by election posts, as if we don't get enough in the media.

This thread started as an attack on the SNP but was posted in Rangers chat for some reason. It would have been better if the OP had been honest about his motivation for posting and put it in the lounge.

  5. The SNP has now become a magnet for some seriously hateful bigots,. I dread to think what will happen to Scotland, if people with an agenda of the politics of hate are given power.

You don't do irony do you? The only bigotry and racism on show has been from the English MSM and the unionist parties (Greens excepted). How any Scot can read and listen to the anti-Scottish bile that is coming out of London and still vote for any of these public school muppets is beyond me. But then, masochism and self-loathing isn't my thing.

And, by the way, the SNP has been in power in Scotland for the past 8 years, the result of which is the most popular government in history and an election in a couple of days in which the unionist parties look like they'll be wiped out and an actual majority of Scots may vote for them, so don't worry too much about the people up here; we're doing fine, thanks.

  6. If McCulloch moved to the Channel Islands it would boost our promotion hopes. How anyone can continue to suggest that Jig should be playing at all is beyond me. It is now evident that McCulloch has something on paper that guarantees him a game; there can be no other reason why a liability that may cost us promotion is being played every week. The only advantage of playing him up front is that he can do less damage there.

  7. I can't understand how any Rangers fan can vote for a cause that aligns themselves with extremist Irish republicanism, is heavily involved in anti-English racism and dismisses and excuses anti-Protestant sectarian abuse. Sorry for being insulated. :P

examples please? I'll pass them on to my local SNP councillor.

    Lovely lassie. From Derbyshire.

  8. While some Scottish refereeing officials are under fire for their failure to penalise Inverness defender Josh Meekings for a blatant hand ball in the Scottish Cup semi-final defeat of Celtic, another of their number, Willie Collum, will take charge of Wednesday's Champions League quarter final between Monaco and Juventus. (Daily Mail)

Perhaps celtic could write to UEFA asking for clarification as to why a Scottish referee was appointed?

  9. That is a TOP appointment for the much and oft criticised Mr Collum.

It's worth remembering that our referees have suffered from a lack of tough matches (not just old firm games) with Rangers not being in the SPL.

However, they have the advantage of being microscopically investigated every time they referee a celtic match, knowing that any mistake made against celtic will result in grief of some sort.

  10. Celtic have written to the Scottish Football Association about the refereeing of their Scottish Cup semi-final defeat by Inverness CT.

The Parkhead side were angered by referee Steven MacLean's failure to award a penalty for handball against Josh Meekings when they led 1-0.

Caley Thistle won 3-2 in extra time.

"Given the level of reaction from our supporters and across football, we are duty bound to seek an understanding of what actually happened," the club said.

"We have not been given any other specific explanation so far and this is simply to understand the circumstances of what went on and why such an obvious error was made."

christ, but this club makes my skin crawl at times. Vile to the core.

  11. Can't agree with that at all.

I saw him play for Arsenal at West Ham in Oct 12 and he completely dictated the game, he took every ball out of defence and rarely missed a forward pass.

    irony

    ˈʌɪrəni/

    noun

    noun: irony

the expression of one's meaning by using language that normally signifies the opposite, typically for humorous or emphatic effect.

  12. Well that's at least one you won't be able to level at me, I have never bought a replica strip in my life. Anyone who pays £48 for that never mind £60 regardless of who is selling it must have money to burn.

I have bought a few of the polo shirts over the years and quite fancy this striped one at £10.50

bloody hell. Is that supposed to be leisurewear or part of a road safety campaign?

  13. If he wanted to burn down his ground for insurance, why wait until it's packed with people?

I never believed the "cigarette or pipe tobacco slipping through gaps in the floorboards on to litter that had built up over the previous 20 years" story...but it certainly gave excuse for the fire and an escape from justice for the arsonist.

because a fire is easier to explain if there are 5,000 possible starters than if it breaks out in the middle of the night in an empty stadium - particularly if there have been other instances to which one may have been connected?
