Rangers Are Still Haunted By The Ghosts Of Past Glory
trublusince1982 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
In no way was the last four years wanted or without its tribulations but I cant help but look back on it as concreting our dominance over Scottish football. A meandering stroll through the badlands to remind them who we are and what we are. Every professional league, every club, every support has failed to match us. We have been champions, are champions and will be champions. The final step will be sitting once again where we have always sat , at the top looking down upon all the rest. -
Hope he's back next year and the passion he expressed on Sunday becomes a permanent fixture to his game

He also plays as a striker or between the midfield and forwards. Would guess he will fill the shiels, law role at the point of the three -

time to stop talking and start doing. -
looked nervous today especially near the end. Halliday played really well today saved us on a couple of occasions. Defence is getting worse, needs some serious work on the training ground especially positioning at corners both defending and attacking raging away next week will miss the party on tuesday. Enjoy bears and bearettes have a good one

No mass clear-out at Rangers, says Mark Warburton

Wouldnt keep miller either but the manager has made his decision so didn't add him to the list. -
remember watching a documentary with steven gerrard in it and him being asked about why he never left liverpool at his height to join the likes of madrid or such when the chance was there He said one of the proudest moments he has ever had is when his friends and his parents friends and neighbours came to the house to see his champions league medal he won at liverpool. The emotion that day was over whelming then one friend turned to him and said why would you give all this up? He asked him what he meant and he replied do you think a single one of us would be round here to see a real madrid champions league medal? From that day on he said thoughts of leaving liverpool went.

Learning from our mistakes: Rangers v Queen of the South
trublusince1982 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Don't remember him saying anything about the gym. They all get work to do at home with personnel website log ins that give them a technical analysis of the last game. Would imagine that would include instruction on what to do to improve. Would imagine MW knows what he is doing. We are only looking from the outside in. Maybe the players need a rest and that is what the fitness coaches are suggesting is best -

Training is the term i would use to cover it all mate from analysis to tactical. Personally i wouldn't give extra time off when you are at your most important part of the season it can have adverse effects mentally. at this point of the season i would have been trying to give them an extra push over the finish line not allowing them to slacken off. Its maybe something that has to happen with a smaller squad maybe a few are carrying niggling injuries or are mentally tired so the management team are thinking a rest is needed. -

As you say if its working go for it, worked for brian cloughs teams! As long as when the teams looks lackadaisical and under performs training sessions are upped in response Personally would up training/tactical sessions the next few weeks until they get their fingers out and perform for 90 mins and in preparation for the cup game. Extra work should be happening on defending before next season. -

Was asked if he enjoyed training said yeah its really good get more time off here than at hearts where they only get a monday off, training sessions are shorter here too but more intensive so he prefers that than being in training all day throw away remarks but would rather hear they were working their arses off after falkirk game -

played for 20 minutes again. Should be going hell for leather now to get the silverware sealed not walking over the finish line. Not to impressed with billy kings comments on training either to be honest. -

hopefully its the reverse of the falkirk game and we come out second half and play much better. Very poor so far been bossed by queens and cant get behind their defence enough -
would fight it all the way. The spfl like to state acceptance as precedent when it suits on other matters so personally would never accept this judgement

Winks is a great prospect but would prefer such an integral position was filled on a more permanent fashion than a loan. Would buy the guy in a second if a deal was possible

[FT] Falkirk 3 - 2 Rangers (Miller 7; McKay 9)
trublusince1982 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
disappointing for sure but ultimately shouldnt have any bearing on our season. Hopefully we take a lesson from it and learn to not try and close shop against teams when we have them on the ropes. As others have said silver lining of a disappointing result is it might feck over hibs
