Today had nothing to do with the ref, the SFA or anyone else. We were comfortably beaten by a really poor team. Gerrard has been excellent so far, but today was a Walter v Zenit. Who’s moaning? Apologies, I’ve not read previous posts. We achieved the exact result we required here. Any Russian side in Europe will be half decent, and considerably better than the usual SPL riff raff. A very solid result, and SG continues to flourish.

Perhaps if he was a world beater like Dado Prso your argument would hold some relevance. And Prso’s goal record was still vastly superior to Lafferty’s.

He already failed miserably with us and his goal record across his career is extremely poor. Signing a striker with a poor goal record makes as much sense as signing a keeper that concedes tonnes of goals.
