Now now Frankie .... don't abuse yer privileges!

I would go for a cheap backup GK, but certainly wouldnt shell out a fortune or make it a priority
... and i hope you mean new right back as BACKUP .... can no-one on here see just how good Alan Hutton has been since we steadied the centre half positions??????

I do agree with that ..... although i don't wish for people to fly such banners, they certainly shouldn't be misconstrued as being sectarian!
0 -
I don't see any problem with that banner, it makes a very good point
However, much as i hate Labour, much as i hate Joke McConnell, i would welcome the removal of a 'don't vote labour' banner, as i don't really want any of that political shite associated with my football club!

Another year of watching utter shite, and my west enclosure seat is now £425!!
I think SDM has just made my mind up for me!!

First off, i just at this moment understood what IIRC means
... but the Daily Record will probably report IIRC as meaning something much more sinister, possibly with sectarian links!

Shite also springs to mind!! Are these gen up though?
There's no originality in strip design anymore, it's all just templates!

I think he is utter shite and have thought that for a long time
Good riddance!

I think labelling California as a shithole is a bit harsh, San Fran and San Diego are pretty amazing places.
LA, on the other hand, would qualify as a shithole every day in my book.
I think he was talking about the one in Falkirk!!
H1ndy .... i don't think Bo'ness is part of Falkirk anymore, i'm pretty sure it is now part of Poland now ... at least it felt that way last time i was there!!

A trip to California?
Nah, no thanks ... it's only about a mile and a half from me ... i walk up there sometimes, but the hill is quite steep and there isn't much to see anyway, apart from a group of wee neds hanging around the local newsagents
Can't see why anyone would want to go to California to be honest!

I haven't watched Scotsport (Timsport!) in two years, and can't see me watching it anytime soon!
however, i do agree that the lack of highlights at a decent hour just further diminishes our league, with our generation of youngsters growing up walking around with premiership tops on!
... but then again, i think anyone who gives money to Sky to help subsidise the English game whilst our game continues on it's road to ruin, is not doing any good!

If I don't renew, I'll just buy tickets for the games I want to go to via the ticket centre.
Cammy F
That's exactly what im thinking too, Cammy! It's not as if i would stop following the Gers, i'd just pick games that i'd fancy going to, and it would give me more time to spend down the coast at the caravan!
I also don't fancy shelling out 400 notes to watch the team, only to find our stadium being shut down, or points being deducted, because the brain dead morons can't keep their mouths shut when it comes to certain archaic chants!

I usually have my season ticket money all neatly put by in the bank, just ready to renew .... i have £0 put by at the mo!
I think that speaks volumes for my current thoughts on the matter!

I initially thought he could have done something for us this season, but in recent weeks i've had my doubts .... good on the big man for showing the club respect and not wishing to hang around if he couldn't give us 100% (and i bet even his 50% would be better than the likes of a Sionko, etc!! )
Fantastic player, good luck in the future big man!

Dunno ... regular mailshots would be good, but quite expensive. The point is, i'm ok, i get stuff by email, but say my Dad joined up ... he aint too au fait with computers ...... he'd probably hear very little for his year's membership
You see what i mean?

I would say RST too, but the only criticism of them is that for people not on the net and receiving update emails, etc, then they would get very very few updates as to what is happening!

Good, didn't really want him at Ibrox anyway
The tims will just love him, won't they? :D

I think we were the first to start singing "Rangers are the champions"
Well, if Celtic were first to sing 'Rangers are the champions' it would kinda defeat the point!
Yours pedantically,
Jim

I say this every year but I remember exactly where I was when I first heard about his death.
RIP Davie - absolute legend!
Ditto!
Absolute legend, and my footballing hero (alongside McCoist) as a boy!

Cammy you can be into anything you like, but it's got nothing to do with football or Rangers FC.
I'm not overly into the UF the OO the Boyne or the Royal Family and my politics are pretty middle of the road and at times borders on Scottish Nationalism.
Are you saying I have to find another club to support, other than the one I've supported since five years old, because I don't share the same tastes as you?
I was under the impression that we could all be different and yet share a love for the same football team. Football is suppose to be an social equaliser, not divisory.
Do you really have a problem with that?
Hopefully it goes the other way and you can be a Royalist and support Hibs, a Unionist and support Raith Rovers, be in the OO and support Dundee Utd, etc.
I'm into social clubs, good food and wine, cycling holidays, playing football, touch rugby, squash, golf, playing the guitar, watching films, home cinema equipment, sports coupes, motorbikes, giving my opinion on forums. But I don't have to have any of that related in any way with the football team I support. I forget about all of them when I'm watching a game.
I don't want to stop drinking wine because Carling sponsor my team, or switch from a Hyundai to a Honda. I don't want to learn to play the flute instead of learning the guitar. I don't want to stand up every time GSTQ is played etc, etc, etc.
So really, what is your point?

Finally, someone with similar views to mine! I won't be changing the team i support either, Calscot, but i will never conform to the 'image' of a Rangers fan that some people seem to have in their head
0 -
Trust you to lower the tone, eh?
0 -
Aye, i wondered where Calscot had re-appeared from!
A man who speaks a lot of sense and whose posts i find myself nodding along to

Even though i've made my views clear on my preference for the saltire, i have also said that i defend anyone's right to fly a UF, and like Craig said above, i'd like them to try and ban it, as it would show the true agenda .... where Rangers fans couldn't fly the flag of the country on their passport, but where Celtic fans could fly a foreign flag, along with all other sorts of foreign terrorist muck flags!! (anything with a rebel cause, it would seem, if you see them at any old firm game!)

The usual 4 or 5 paragraphs about us, and the usual one line about them
Thing is, there IS a valid point to be made there, but as usual it's lost in the normal anti-Rangers 'let's just make stuff up' bandwagon!!

Lennon to Leave at Last?
in Rangers Chat
Posted
Having just read the article, i don't really think posting such articles on a Rangers site really paints us in a great light! (sorry!)
Whilst a lot of what is said is very very true, it kinda paints us in the same old paranoid scene as your average Celtic fan
Neil Lennon is leaving ... big deal ... good riddance ... that's all i have to say on it, and that's how i'd prefer the Gers fans to approach it!
