  1. Actually .......

It was about six months before they introduced a limited range of saltire stuff, which sold like hotcakes .......... and it pretty much showed our marketing peeps to be a complete bunch of dicks - but then that tied in nicely to a lot of how our club was being run :(

  2. I can tolerate it for the 25,000 saltires ...... i've long said the club should pursue a more Scottish identity, and that, along with the flag on the shirt, have all been positive steps

It's a long way forward from when i contacted the club several years back to ask for scottish saltire merchandise and they said there was 'no demand' for it ........ egg on your faces Rangers FC? :D

  3. I'll take my saltire thank you very much ..... i'd much rather see a display full of saltires, but that's my personal opinion

... and to be honest, it's a bit of a political statement from the club, and i could do without that!!

  4. I still think he is a decent player, but importantly, i dont think he is the player he was a season or two, so im not too worried he has signed for them ... i said right at the start that i would prefer we spend the money on some youth! :)

  5. As has been stated here on this thread "so we don't sign tim's, get into the 21st century lah de dah"

It is time to look the bare facts in the face, Hartley is a Tim through and through, his agent was trying to get the Scum in on a deal whilst Rangers were trying to get him.

So what if people were saying we should get into the 21st Century????? Bloody right we should, and by at least making this effort we prove that we are willing to sign anyone ........ if Hartley wants to pimp himself off to the east end then that is up to him!!

.... but thank god our days of discriminating against who we sign is gone, even if the other mob still like to look at 'celtic-minded' people!!
