Is there another club as divided and useless as Rangers when it comes to supporter (political) organisation ?
Some good intentions, some excellent ideas but we almost never seem to be collectively competent and united enough to bring any big ideas to fruition. The atmosphere, at least for the time I have observed from afar, often has a toxcity that will almost certainly discourage many of the well qualified to get involved.

Effective pass through to the semi finals will do nicely whilst to win trophy, we'll only need to beat one of Celtic or Hearts.
Couldn't have gone better.
Beale could yet do a McLeish.

Hoof it up the park to who? Are we meant to expect a lower league player to be able to hit it to one of our players?
How difficult is this to understand!!
Their forwards would have allowed our defenders to gain possession before the competitive resumption.

And why should Rangers have to accept that? Surely we've got the option not to?
You are losing it BD.
It is the unwritten convention of what goes on in today's professional game.
A defender will never throw it directly to opposition if close to their own goal.

If Thistle wanted to give us the ball back they could have thrown it straight to us.
It doesn't really work like that though, does it. Might if it were deep inside our half but not where it happened.

Not sure how much more space we're meant to give Thistle.
How long has he watched Scottish fitbaw !?
Expecting a lower league player to control and position the ball with one touch is extreme optimism.
Having watched it back, you can see he was getting ready to hoof it up the park and that other players were effectively still waiting on the real resumption of the game.

Disgraceful decision by Beale. First time I recall booing a Rangers manager.
That is a bit extreme for you BD.
Tillman, understandably misjudged a particular situation within the game and scored a (well taken) goal that really shouldn't have been scored.
Beale takes the responsibility and takes a decision that I think, especially given context, is very much the right thing to do.
Disagree, fine...but disgraceful, give me peace.
Had it been in the League Cup Final, I would agree with you. Unless 9 goals to the good, in which case, it would actually add to the fun.
Ps. Was at a game at Tynecastle (80's IIRC) when we as a support actually collectively applauded a Hearts goal (I think we had already reached 5).

The revenue from the AC DC collection will make up that shortfall
I apoligize but that has flown right over my head.
I am either thick or haven't been paying attention.

The 1981 Final went from a boring disappointment of a goalless draw that included a last minute penalty miss by the late Ian Redford to an exciting and brilliant 4-1 replay win a few days later.
Was at both games and the thoughts on that penalty miss were very different after each.

First time we haven't had Post Xmas European football since 2019 (IIRC).

Scottish football is generally a low quality environment with very occasional glimpses of quality.
From the general levels of professionalism of players, to the punditry and journalism, to the food kiosks, to the game itself.

No idea of the capacity. So few probably due to lack of interest.
Thanks Bearger !
Came accross the following.
An interesting end part of main video that I doubt many will get to otherwise.

I don't get attached to players when they're here, never mind when they sod off elsewhere.
It's a team game.
I count three players I was definitely attached to.
Derek Parlane and Sandy Jardine as my favourite players, then Davie Cooper.

7 attendees plus a top table of 4.
It is becoming almost embarrassing.
Bearger, if you know......What was the capacity and why so few ?

We played some excellent stuff, particularly in the first half, but struggled to create many clear cut chances with RC sitting deep. I worried about their height at set pieces and with McLaughlin flapping in the goal and no-one able to clear the ball we were lucky to only concede one. It looks like we have got 2 really good players in Cantwell and Raskin. Cantwell and Tillman were our best players. As for the ref, dreadful performance.
Did we have too many creative players on the park ?
It didn't turn into the creating of many chances.
As I said during the game, this is still a work-in-progress,....that needs the summer transfer window and a pre-season to bed in. Beale was never likely to make a sensational start with the squad he inherited but there has been progress and he has won the confidence of most of the support. League Cup Final is shaping up to be more important then the norm.
Real positive for me is Raskin.
He looks like a dynamic type, who can carry the ball and has the technical ability to do somthing useful with it.

My MotM is Raskin.
Boy looks a real player

Morelos looks a lot more mobile and very interested today.
Stark contrast to most of what has gone before this season.

Forward thinking bench.
Would have preferred the same starting XI from Wednesday.

If I remember correctly Sebo scored a decent winning goal against Aberdeen .
I remember one person in the stand talking about Sebo and saying fuck me we bought Roger Hynd’s love child
One of those pent up emotional last minute winners.
His heart was in the right place, even if his feet often weren't.

Dave King withdraws from Club 1872 agreement

From the little I have seen, there seems to be no middle ground with Dave King.
Brilliant or Naive
He has of occasion surrounded himself with questionable advisors in PR and by the looks of some results, the legal although this was sometimes on behalf of Rangers, eg. Merch contract with MrMash
