  1. The Hertz, ken, have to pay off Cathro & Co, are looking at a building contract which is way over budget, are likely to have to appoint an out of work manager/coach to save compen, (oh, say, Hartley,) who will love to have a player who, by all accounts, wishes to leave and sign on the dotted line @Ibrox, so wherein lies the problem?

A cheque for £650,000 generally solves most of my problems (i wish). Im thinking the jam tarts will deal----lets see.

  2. easy tiger

most couldn't give a shit about friendlies

the justified anger came from absolutely awful performances in games that mean something

that said big alves does seem to have brought some badly needed quality to the back 4

Fair enough,i want Pedro to be the best manager we ever had.The fact that i think he will fail doesnt call for the shit i read. Its not on.

  3. He wasn't alone though. I could name 4 others that can't wait to have a go at Pedro, and I'm not talking about the ones that come on here with sensible and understandable concerns (most of which I think we all share). I'm hoping everyone wants him to be a success though, but something tells me that some really want him to fail. They'll show themselves again soon, because inevitably we will have some poor games.

Perhaps he was like me and has not seen a ball kicked in ANYof our friendlies----win,lose or draw.

Now you think i talk shite(fair enough)but surely let me do it after ive seen a match.

  4. Killie may well have voted for us if it would have made a difference, but they knew it wouldn't make a difference and would only have ended up hurting themselves due to the blackmail and threats they were under, particularly from Celtic and their support. It would have hurt them financially if the Celtic support boycotted them.

The killie supporters trust wrote to their celtic counterparts begging them not to boycott them(because of the abstension)

They more or less blamed their chairman(whom they all hate).Make no mistake the fans were right behind that lot.

  5. The Tom English/Jolyon Maugham exchange was actually very funny. The later follow up by the previously sainted Rangers Tax Case and their public insistence that they knew more about it than a QC specialising in tax law was the icing on the cake. It simply further underlined how hugely out of their depth most sports journalists have been on EBTs. No wonder, it's a highly specialist field, it took the Supreme Court to decide their status, this is points of law way, way above the heads of the vast majority of us. Tom English can probably explain to you how the British Lions tactics were wrong in the 1st test against New Zealand and he's probably got a good insight into how Glasgow Warriors will fare under their new coach. He might even have opinions worth listening to regarding how the football in Scotland might go this season. But he knows no more about tax law than anyone else who has had to fill out a self assessment form.

I wonder if, say a high profile player picks up an injury, English will tell the doctor his diagnosis of the player is wrong? Will he look over the medical records and suggest a different type of surgery perhaps, maybe changes in rehab and physio work?

It's the arrogance of them, instead if admitting they really don't understand 99% of what has happened they pretend they do and get shown up for it publicly. He defended his position later too, it's laughable.

Edit - Maugham published this earlier for the hard of thinking. Brilliant - https://waitingfortax.com/2017/07/27/a-short-note-on-tax-law-for-rangers-and-celtic-fans/

Good post, you do understand that english will NEVER waver from his stance, never.

Hes a rebel dog imo------i wont waver from that opinion either.

  6. Agreed, but that doesn't stop these journalists and others claiming that they were unlawful.

    You will never stop them,never.

They will say they are entitled to their opinion(which they are).

Personally----i dont give a feck about their opinions. They can shove them. They are wrong, but that wont stop them.

  7. They can indeed. I've just finished reading that the Daily Retard claims one and a half million online readers. Nearly all - no surprise here - go to the sports section. The advertisers love this. It would be a good idea for Rangers fans to desist - I hope that's what they wish to do.

Yes,most certainly.Lets face it,if WE cant draw a line under it .How can we expect them to?

  8. Its been ruled upon-----Who amongst US really care anymore.

Let THEM get on with it as they see fit,it doesnt matter a f-ck.ITS OVER.

Its a free country----poeple can do as they wish,or not give a shit (i know where im at.)

  9. Aye Ready!

I hope we're not expecting TOO much from him.

If what we are expecting comes true,it looks like we wont need to look far for our next manager!!

Far too much expected of the man.He will be fine----but he aint superman.

  10. Bollocks.

Makes it sound like he was put in a concentration camp; not sent to train with the Under-20's.

He was never signing a new contact, that was obvious when he only signed a one year extension.

He was capable of so much more but was left out because he wasn't contributing to the team.

He'll certainly be remembered for that wonderful goal vs Celtic; but that apart he so often flattered to deceive.

All the best to him; but he should keep his mouth shut and get on with his new career.

You know fine well hes a pro footballer---they are wee sensitive souls.

Managers either adapt or die(as to their treatment of them). They think the world owes them a living

Truth is---he wasnt very good,he wont be missed.(same as our current manager)

  11. Demonstrably better than murty is all i am saying.

With all due respect ,id rather you didnt.Defending him at the moment grates with most fans.If he did improve ,then feel free. Until then you are just gonna have to suck it up.Detractors have the floor at the minute----let it go.
