Wallace , same as Tavernier, isn't a full back.
If the managers he's had wanted him to be a full back they'd tell him not to cross the half way line.
Both have suffered due to the incompetence of our various centre halfs who are there to cover when they move forward.
Big Broadfoot and to a certain extent Whittaker were the same.
Couldnt agree more----they aint and never will be fullbacks. How cant Gers managers see this?
Blaming centre halfs for their lack of ability in their positions aint working for me,
If you are a fullback at Rangers and are suspect at defending, well, you shouldnt be there.

In my opinion we would be silly to get rid of Wallace. I think he's a terrific player, if somewhat suspect at defending.
Certainly given the limited amount of funds which will be available to improve the squad we won't be able to find anything near to Wallaces ability.
How can he be a terriffic player but suspect at defending if hes a full back?

I didn't notice your post before posting myself in praise of Miller. The run back was just in front of me and to be fair he wasn't able to join the ensuing attack but who would?
Thistle were excellent in the first half and as you say won the 80 minutes comfortably 1-0.
I totally agree with you,but isnt your last sentence heartbreaking. What is going to become of us if this continues.

To even suggest this turns my stomach.I never thought he had any feeling for the club,it was pure narcissism that drove him.

Maybe just a bit of light relief before tomorrows ordeal.

If there is a chance to get rid of any of them-----take it.
See who is left after that and go from there.

I care about this web forum.
Im not so sure you do---me thinks you will put yourself interest first every time.

Are you comfortable with the description of "disreputable" from a legal standpoint? Is that not slanderous and would the defamation not be actionable since it has been published? Are you satisfied that you could defend any such action by proving the truth of the adjective?
Its getting late for this kind of shit surely?

I don't believe that Sir David was duped any more than the next man but he had made it clear he wanted out for several years and it's clear he had had enough and made a wrong decision. But to suggest he was somehow duplicit in everything that has followed stretches credibility beyond breaking point.
SDM gave us the best Rangers team most of us have seen since the early 60's and for that I will be eternally grateful.
I would welcome him back with open arms.
Him and ashley skipping along Edmiston drive is probably your idea of the perfect wet dream, sad very very sad.

I think you should go and take a grumpy pill or go for a sleep. I am just being honest it was not a foul. The fact Miller went over his body does not make it a foul.
And here was me thinking you wanted to encourage DISSCUSSION(suggesting folks go to bed aint the way to go about it)

Our player would be sent off. No question about it.
Its gonna be a long while to we get a player to tackle like that.

I dont think you get it----Miller could have went over the f-cking stand---it would have made no difference.

If a Rangers player tackled like that and Thomson or Clancy was refereeing I'd guarantee a straight red
What matter would it make?We would have been better with 9 men.

Where is the OP.
Where is he,to defend his op?

Limeburner,
I think the OP is trying to derive some consolation from reminding himself, and us, that no matter how bad the current incumbents,
there was comparable dross who wore the shirt in the past.
It's not working for me.
I think you are being kind.

Okay Miller is better now than he was first time around but not so good as his second stint.
Durrant is a strange one and i would say before his injury he was world class so he doesn't deserve to be in a poor players list
The OP is a strange one!!

Foderingham was at fault for at least 2 of the goals on Saturday. How the hell can a player head the ball in at head height 2 yards from the goal without meeting the keeper? If I was manager I would drop him and give the other keeper a chance.
Thats commenting on Saturdays game----there is another thread for that.

the same as everything posted on a forum. DISCUSSION! No post = nothing to read. Does there always have to be a serious point to something?
So,miller was shit then and hes shit now?You go ahead and discuss that.
Durrant?

is the political state of SA just now maybe distracting king and more importantly destroying his own finances?
Perhaps he couldnt attend the game cos he was training in the outlands.Seriously, its a fragile country.

I don't even know if he's interested; but some pretty informed people seem to think he is.
So let's say MA is not interested. We know from the ongoing court case that he's got us by the balls on the retail agreement.
Let's start there.
Could you please stop asking the same question about where investment is coming from.As you know fine well that nobody has the answer(including you).

More than happy to stop.
But I would like to see some genuine solutions to the mess we're in right now.
mike ashley aint the solution----can we at least understand that(could we use that as a starting point?)
