Not "solely", but I'd suggest he's done far more than anyone else.

I expect another DoF to be appointed. Allen was appointed to implement the structure, and was never a true DoF. It was what we needed at the time. We now need a 'proper' DoF; one that has experience of doing the job.

I don't think there is a 'best eleven'. The best eleven for one game, won't be the best eleven for another.

I'm bemused by the criticism of Ojo. it seems to have come out of nowhere, and is completely over the top, IMO. He's a young player that's come in to help out. Okay--he's raw, and often doesn't make the best decisions at times, but he doesn't hide. I thought he was poor against Legia last week, but he was always in the game trying things. He's played 9 games for us, scoring 4 and assisting 3. That's superb. He's halfway towards Kent's tally for the whole of last season, in less than a quarter of the games! I'm not saying he should be a guaranteed starter -- he's not consistent enough, IMO -- but I'm more than pleased with his contribution thus far, and he can improve. Good player.

Exactly. I think we're the only ones who think he was played out of position.

What is it with our fans--players are shite when they have a slight dip in form, then become superstars when they're out of the team for a while. I'm guilty of it myself, to be fair, but I always thought Grezda was surplus to requirements. He's got talent, but hasn't fitted in. It happens.

It's a lot of money on one player. He's undoubtedly got talent, and can produce a bit of magic out of nothing, yet doesn't actually assist or score often enough. He needs to settle, and it looks like he feels wanted up here. If he can add goals and assists to his game, then it could be a steal. As someone said above, Liverpool did want over £10M for him.

The team selection was okay, I thought. I don't think Aribo is a forward/attacking midfielder, but there's always one poster saying he should be played there. Aribo just wasn't up for it, for me; I chalk it down to inexperience, as the lad's got talent. I was most annoyed at the performance, more than anything else. Too many players were incapable passing a simple ball.

Fair enough. I just didn't think we were outplayed, per se. We are, most definitely, better than that, though.
