Seriously, this is terrific news. He's been one of our best players since he arrived, but he's now cutting out the mistakes, and becoming more effective. He fully deserved the captaincy at the weekend.

And here's my reaction in text form, in case Pete doesn't like the gif: Yay.

Most were sceptical when Goss signed considering his recent record, but he's really stepped up. Perhaps he's just the type of player that needs to be playing in a dominant team? Lots of the ball, less back-to-the-wall defending type thing, like he'd probably get at QPR just now. Reminds me of Carrick in some ways.

I'm still waiting on him responding to my letters... Fair enough, but you can't just judge a player in certain games. He's been brilliant today: running at players, passing and crossing well, and scoring. YOu can't ask much more than that.

Good run and finish from Murphy. He's done it all game -- deserves the goal.

I was going to ask, 'is there a reason Miller can control the ball well on a bobbly pitch but can't on a carpet like Ibrox?', only for him to push a ball 10-yards with his first touch!

Powerful, energetic, but I've also been impressed with his quick feet. He's also not greedy: he's knows he the supporting player, which I like.

That 'shush' must've opened the floodgates! Windass has had a few aggressive confrontations. That's more like it.

Windass again. 1-5. MotM for me; he's been terrific.
