  1. Really!? I've not hear that. I've only seen the German one.
  2. Dave Allen?
  3. @the gunslinger just copy and paste the image into this editor.
  4. The idea is to applaud your own fans; a 'thanks for your support' type thing. I like the idea, but it's not part of the culture so it won't catch on any time soon. Klopp was criticised because Liverpool had drawn, but applauded the fans "as if they'd won". It's a nice touch, and it works really well in Germany; it really creates a bond between players and fans -- especially those players that are not brought up in the culture of the club.
  5. They do it in Germany after matches. Klopp tried it with Liverpool and got slated for it!
  6. It wouldn't have happened if the game had taken place before the draw.
  7. That's... wow.
  8. Craig jinxed it...
  9. You brought up the spouse; It's unambitious either way. (And, no; I'm not. ) He could fade into obscurity, but the possibility is there; it vanishes altogether IMO if he packs his bags. I never wanted rid of Wilson; I've argued a lot over the past few days that I'd like to keep him; I think he's a good defender, that can play internationally because I don't think there are many better in Scotland. If there are personal reasons then I'll revise my position when they are made clear, but until then, I'll base it on a strictly footballing position; and, for me, moving to the US, shows a lack of ambition. I WILL NOT BE MOVED!
  10. I beat you to it! It's in the Good News/Bad News thread in Rangers chat -- I didn't think it deserved it's own thread.
  11. I have no idea. You'd need to google it.
  12. Beckham was 30+ when he went to the US; his career was finished at the elite level. Players regularly look to the future -- they can do most of it anywhere -- but not at the cost of their playing career -- unless they're sh*te. Bowing to the will of one's spouse -- as peaceful as it may be -- does not preclude a lack of ambition. He can play for 5+ more years with us, winning trophies, playing in Europe, playing internationally.
  13. Speaking of injuries... isn't karma a b*tch? Shame.
  14. Going to the US at 26 does show a lack of ambition.
  15. Yes; a "Leeds salute", apparently.
  16. I love how the blame is with Dundee and not their derisory bid.
  17. Old-fashioned badges are often the best, simply because they've taken elements of their area, which have become part of the clubs culture. Yorkshire Rose should be there somewhere. There new one looks bland and meaningless. I think we're unusual to have two badges. I love them both, especially the scroll crest on the tops.
  18. There's a story about Rossiter clattering Docherty in training, sending him somersaulting through the air -- I think it was a press conference? I presume we are awaiting confirmation of Rossiter's latest injury?
  19. *Rangers make appropriate bid for Jones* Boyd: *Celtic make derisory bid for Hendry* Boyd:
  20. Tavernier and Docherty passing each other in the corridors...
  21. I'll never get used to that...
  22. Criticism is important, but I get frustrated at the certainly at which some will declare, 'get him out; he's not Rangers standard' etc. after watching them for a few games.
  23. If he's wanting that kind of money he wouldn't touch the floor on the way out for me. I like Wilson, and I'd like to keep him, but not if he's wanting more money -- small increase aside. His career is finished if he leaves us.
  24. It illustrates how fickle we can be: from being one of the primary scapegoats every week to demanding we extend his contract is quite a change!
  25. Box-to-box; like McArthur.
