I like to think you played your part in that goal. -

Rangers fan: 'I'd like to get Cummings through the door; good player' *plays 15 minutes* Rangers fan: 'He's f*ckin' sh*te!' -
It'll not influence the top league, and the lower leagues are rather competitive anyway: it still doesn't generate interest, nor attract youngsters to go out on loan. Having a Rangers 'B' team in League Two will generate more gate receipts for the lower league clubs, generate a bit more interest etc. It is inherently selfish: a 'B' team bridges the gap between youth-team and first-team for the side (Rangers, say), but the youngster remains in the Rangers mentality, play the way the first-team play, while getting 'first-team' experience. It produces better players, and even if they don't make it in the first-team, they'll filter down into smaller clubs.

I think Netflix have around almost 120 million subscribers, and growing. I would certainly upgrade my subscription to get football!

I have both too. I wish I had bought some Netflix and/or Amazon shares a few years ago...

Ooft! Martin-Bates pairing. Who was it that wanted Bates to deal with the aerial threat? Makes sense. No Wilson at all? -

Looks like Aberdeen are going for it: very attacking line-up. -
How are you defining "better"?

Did Corinthians not bring their A-team, albeit in their pre-season? -

I think he was poor when he was the sole holding player. I think teaming up with another will suit him; give him license to use that energy of his, as another covers. I'm thinking a stronger, more direct Holt, without the technique and movement? -

I'm strangely happy with the Docherty move -- it seems to tick a few boxes. Now it is up to him to do the job on the pitch. -

Maybe don't click on the link, but the headline is good: -
Yes, but I'm not sure Tavernier will be moving position, nor will our formation (to a three-at-the-back) change, any time soon.

There must be a reason why the Countries that develop the best players (Spain and Germany) and play the best football have 'B' teams in their league structure? It's not the only reason, of course, but it must play its part.
-
Although the pilot consists of Rangers and them, there is interest from other Premiership sides which will be taken up. The German II teams don't result in a less competitive top league -- outside of Bayern!

What's the cost?

He is experienced in terms of the longevity of his career, but in terms of match experience it's not as great as it should've been. A decent season for us in the SPL several years ago, then wasting in the Liverpool reserves for several seasons, followed by a couple of season's at Hearts (one of which was in the CH). I think we expect more because he's been around since he was 16. Fair enough. I'd like to see him stick around. I think he's a good defender, albeit guilty of being complacent.
-
I agree, but I don't think that's a reason to bin him at the age of 26.
-
He's 26. Do you expect a finely polished defender at that age? I don't think a defender reaches their peak until closer to 30. A lot of his problems have been his due to his partners, and the sheer number of them, IMO.

It appears I'm in the minority with regards to Wilson. I can't believe YOU'RE ALL WRONG?!
-
I think Wilson should be playing for Scotland; which is an indictment of the dearth of CB talent in Scotland, rather than me saying he's a top, international class player -- whatever that is nowadays?
