  1. Why do you think so many murder charges are reduced to 2nd degree murder? It is because 1st degree murder is far more difficult to prove. As for convincing a jury well everybody in the world thinks OJ Simpson killed his wife, except the jury didn't think it was proven to within reasonable doubt. Further than that we are going round in circles. As Uilleam says the Tynecastle guy was found not proven and just done with a breach of the piece.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUdodcawHv0&feature=player_detailpage
  2. In my opinion there lies the reasonable doubt and again Rangers are not a religion. Could they have brought heavier charges? Possibly by threatening a group by showing an image but that will probably bring a trial and breach of the piece will probably get all to plead guilty. It is possible that has already been agreed with the lawyers
  3. Were these men holding a banner? If you are guilty of hate because someone else has a banner lets get all 50.000+ arrested. As for social media if someone comes on here spewing hate does it make me guilty. As for your charges we are talking about proving religious hate. Can you prove those images to be religious? Without the we all know line. This actually was a copy cat act. In Holland just a few weeks earlier Ajax supporters displayed a black doll with a keepers jumper with the name Vermeer on it. Vermeer was an Ajax player that now plays for Feynoord. Because this is clear cut aimed at 1 person as his name was on the shirt the charges are Threatening to kill or commit a violent act. On the dolls at Parkhead was no text it was all left to your own imagination and interpretation and that is what makes it difficult to prove.

I am talking about real royalty rights. You cannot always just fly or wear colours\emblem's when you want.
  5. Show me this evidence. A sex doll with an orange rag. Prove to me that is religious hatred. Without bullshit about murder cases.
  6. There is no point in arguing with you anymore. I can only say that I as a Rangers supporting Jury member would not vote for a guilty verdict as I think it was a stupid thought out way to annoy Rangers supporters. I do not believe for a second that there was real religious hate involved.
  7. Yes The sky is green. Lets put it to a jury and prove otherwise.

Thanks Tannoch but one thing that is increasingly being looked at is who actually has the right to fly flags or wear royal emblems. I know an uncle of mine years ago challenged the SFA on the Scotland badge and they had to change it. I am not saying this is the reason as I don't know but I do know it is becoming more of a critical point for people who love to complain.

Just a throw in the air. Would the club not need to get permission to show the saltire. I have no idea what this was about to be honest. Was it a planned show by the club? To show Royal colours you need to get permission as an organisation.
  10. The last thing a judge says to the jury is it must be proven without any reasonable doubt. I have no idea what your last post means but again it sounds like nonsense to convince yourself in a lost case.
  11. Thus prove it if the jury does it's job. You are playing with words to suite your case.
  12. Okay a piece of rag or whatever but certainly not a orange order sash in my opinion. All your law things prove absolutely nothing. there are Rangers supporters who wear orange scarf's so it could be football related. How many Rangers supporters wear orange who are not in the orange lodge? For a prosecution on religious grounds there would have to be a text linking it to the orange order. Sorry you have not convinced me that the law is against us on this.
  13. Yes Craig my point from the beginning was proving it in court. What you have is a doll with what looks to me like a dish cloth draped round it's neck. Not 100% sure but it looks more like it than a real sash. If a prosecutor goes for that call there is a good chance he will lose. Breach of the piece is probably a charge everyone will plead guilty to so it is a no brainer for me.

It was sarcasm but because we do have a large following from NI and the orange community we have inherited a link.
  15. I see people wearing Orange every day and it is nothing to do with the orang lodge. How in gods name do you think the police can prove that this was religious hatred? I am not trolling it would seem to be you think everybody that disagrees with you is trolling. They may be able to get a football related charge but not religious hatred. I would like to here from you how you think that it is possible for religious charges. Rangers or orange aren't religions.
  16. http://willievass.photoshelter.com/gallery-image/011016-Rangers-v-Partick-Thistle/G0000sHGTc8sZMMQ/I0000lIJvsmbFaBs/C000073HvEmiL_x0 It should work now. At Kanjcars goal there is not one forward in sight. I would think we should be able to see at least 2.
  17. http://willievass.photoshelter.com/g...00073HvEmiL_x0 Look at photo No.1 & 2 We can see more than a half of the penalty area and not 1 forward in sight. Holt comes in but still no sign of a forward.

  20. Agree fully. Wishing them all the strength his family need.
  21. I merged them now.
  22. i will get 1.5 hrs of Ryder cup in before the game. I should do some work but when the wife is away the mouse will play. Ryder cup the whole day on one telly. Other English football on another telly. And Rangers on the computer. What a day. Come on Rangers and team Europe.
  23. People that drink a few pints before the game. You know drink 2 pints and piss 5. They used to have cans they could pee into but that has been stopped. It was great going home with your flares reeking of piss.
