Ian Black on his reasons for signing "I'm delighted to be here. The move has been a long time in coming with all the talk there has been in the papers. "About four weeks ago there was a bit of interest shown and after that it was just a waiting game for me. I was really excited to hear the manager was interested in me. "Now I'm thrilled to get the opportunity to come and play here. I had a good few other clubs wanting me to sign for them but coming to a club like this is great. "I had opportunities to stay in the SPL and people might criticise me for not doing that but I want to win things here now. "I know Rangers are in the Third Division but you only get an opportunity to come somewhere like here once. "It's something I wanted to give a shot. Playing in front of big crowds will be great and I'm looking forward to it."

All the SPL clubs will want to draw the 3rd division club that is Rangers!

Whether you like Green or not he is here for now. The way I see it,on face value,is he has secured a license for Rangers to play football,he had to make a decision for Rangers and Rangers staff by keeping us in Scottish football and accepting the transfer ban is a compromise to that effect. If Green had not compromised we may not have been in a position to fight the stripping of titles, which he & Ally have said they will fight. As for the TV rights I'm not sure he could have done anything about that. I'm still very wary of the CG consortium,I'll remain wary of any new owners for the rest of my life after all this!,but I for one believe we Rangers fans should get behind CG & Ally and start our rebuilding. CG & his consortium will sell when they think it's the right time and have made their money, now if they leave the club on a sound footing and make a profit then that is fair enough. Tin hat on but it's only my opinion.

I hope so,the quicker the league is won the better

That isn't true,it was a made up story

The fans groups have a thankless task,it would be good to unite them and have one fans group, however I can't see it happening, you only have to read this forum to see how different views are treated and this is forum is mild compared to others

â??@JimDelahunt: Really hope Ally just pandering to fans with comments tonight. Guy I knew wouldn't actually think that way. Too intelligent.

I'm only interested in Rangers, but you're correct.................................fuck the lot of them
-
Spoken like a true Ranger, now I hope the club demands an investigation into the way this sham has been allowed to drag on and the people who are responsible for this to be chased out of Scottish football for bringing the game into disrepute and in the name of sporting integrity.

Lifted from FF Rod the Prod Rod the Prod is online now ♪ One flash of light...... Join Date: 29-07-2006 Location: WTF, BTW? Posts: 12,730 Exclamation I wish to apologise and will cease posting on this forum! First of all I must offer my apologies, most profusely, to my Brother in LA and to the NARSA lads over there too. I have put them all in an extremely bad position by posting what I did a little earlier and for that I wish to offer my sincere apologies. I'm just off the phone to my wee brother. He is friends with Gordon McDougall, the President of NARSA, and others within the organisation. As a result they sometimes share information about what is going on at Rangers and sometimes he passes it on to me via text or whatever. He texted me the information I posted a little earlier but I didn't realise it was to be kept schtum, which is why I posted it. As a consequence my brother is right now having to drive over to Gordon's house to admit guilt and apologise for sharing the info outside their inner circle. I have put him in a terrible position and he probably won't be trusted with any info again. For that I must say sorry. I also want to say sorry to all the NARSA guys. If you are reading this I want to say how sorry I am for posting what I did when I wasn't supposed to. I didn't consider the consequences so for that I am very sorry. Speaking of consequences, I don't want to ever put anyone in any awkward position again, so this will be my last post on Follow Follow. If its ok I'd still like to view the forum but that's as far as it will go. It's the very least I can do to make up for my actions. Finally, I wish to once again apologise to everyone, my Brother in LA, Gordon McDougall and the others involved with NARSA, for the problems I have caused you all. Gordon, if you are reading this, please don't be too hard on him when he comes round to yours. It's me that fucked up by making it public. If you wish, get my mobile number off him and gimme a call and allow me to speak to you in person. Thank you and sorry once again!
