  1. Lifted from FF: RANGERS supporters are set to receive just half of the 20% share that the SFA rules say all away sides are entitled to for next month’s William Hill Scottish Cup quarter final tie against Aberdeen – because of safety certificate regulations over segregation at Pittodrie.Steven Gerrard’s side booked their visit to the North East in the last eight with a controversial 5-0 victory against Kilmarnock on Wednesday night, but while SFA rules oblige visiting clubs in Scottish Cup matches to one fifth of all available seats, with an even split of gate receipts, the Ibrox side will be provided with just 2,000 tickets out of a capacity of 20,866.The crux of the matter is a security fence which was removed four years ago, back when Aberdeen decided to cut away capacity in league matches from 4000 to 2000. While a modern stadium would allow for more flexibility in segregation arrangements, the old-school design at Pittodrie leaves little room for flexibility, particularly in what has the potential to be a powderkeg match. The first Scottish Cup home meeting with either Celtic or Rangers since then, discussions with Police Scotland and the length of time to alter the safety certificate alone means that the Dons have been left with no choice but to inform the Ibrox side that they are unable to provide travelling fans with 20% of tickets and proceed with the sale of home areas. “The rules say that the visiting team are entitled to up to 20% except if the safety certificate doesn’t allow it – and it doesn’t,” said a club source. “Once we move to a modern stadium it will be different. But to change the safety certificate takes a good matter of weeks to go through the licensing board, so we have informed everyone that Rangers will only be getting 2,000 tickets.”It is unclear whether Rangers have any rights of appeal to the SFA on the matter but Aberdeen are adamant that no other solution exists
  2. Rangers chairman Dave King apologises to Steve Clarke as he hits out at sectarian abuse Rangers chairman Dave King has apologised to Steve Clarke and insists the club are "deeply distressed" by the sectarian abuse directed at the Kilmarnock boss. Clarke hit out at the Ibrox club and its fans on Wednesday night after being taunted with chants of "****** b*****d" during his side's 5-0 Scottish Cup defeat. In an emotional press conference, the Killie boss slammed the abuse and said it was like living in the "dark ages". King has now released a strongly-worded statement in which he insisted Rangers "abhor" the treatment dished out to Clarke and vowed to root out the bigots. It said: "Myself and every single person at the Rangers Football Club abhors the sectarian element that continues to be so prevalent in Scottish football. "We will continue to do everything we can at our club to root sectarianism out and to deal in the strongest manner possible with any individuals that are found to have engaged in such practices. "We are also deeply distressed that Steve Clarke has been subjected to this unwarranted abuse and, on behalf of myself and the club, I offer our most sincere apology and hope that it does not deflect from the wonderful job he has done at Kilmarnock. "He is a top manager and it would be a great loss to Scottish football if incidents like this forced him away from our game." https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rangers-chairman-dave-king-apologises-14035963?1

  5. An absolutely farcical statement, and anything the SNP have to say you can rest assured it will be detrimental to Rangers, an absolute joke, it's only sectarian when it is anything against Catholicism or ST Pats FC,scandalous
  6. HIBS are set to perform a u-turn and increase the Old Firm's ticket allocation for Easter Road...just months after slashing it. Both ST Pats and Rangers were handed a reduced allocation for matches against the capital side and received less than 2,000 tickets in the South Stand. The Leith side were hoping more of their own supporters would buy tickets for the matches. It led to Rangers issuing a statement about Hibs' decision saying 'it beggars belief' and warning they would be 'considering ticketing arrangements for future matches – both home and away – against this particular club.' And ST Pat’s supporter liaison officer John Paul Taylor criticised Hibs' decision too on social media after the South Stand for half empty for their visit in December. Now Hibs have backed down and will hand over the full stand, which has a capacity of just less than 4,000, for their future home league games against ST Pats and Rangers. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/3907210/hibs-tickets-celtic-rangers-u-turn/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1550747829
  7. Rangers win= UTTER CHAOS! THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO END! pathetic from the bias Scottish gutter press, delicious!.
  8. A bit of jostling and he made a meal of it for sure, no penalty for me. Candeias challenge at worst might have been a yellow, he was clearly trying to block the ball getting played up the wing as opposed to going straight into the players, ref got that correct for me as well
  9. We are all quick to slate refs decisions but that one was an excellent one and credit to the assistant ref for calling it, I also thought the ref got the Killie pen claim right, IMO.
  10. Again I agree, but it is only ever highlighted when Rangers fans do anything, it is one sided. Rangers fans did for a long time drop a lot of songs, but the ST Pats fans kept on, actually got worse and nobody batted an eyelid.
  11. Agreed, however it doesn't matter what happens, every time Rangers win the onslaught of bias from the Rangers hating Scottish gutter press continues
