Gaizka Mendieta is the best midfielder I've seen at Ibrox, absolutely bossed us and looked as if he hardly broke sweat.

I think it was Ronald De Boer (was certainly one of them) that said he's very much a confidence player, I think in the next couple of months we'll find out if that's true.

Connor Barron would be a shrewd signing, good player, young, ambitious and sellable if developed correctly by the likes of Clement.

Absolutely, you don't need pace to get yourself into goal scoring positions, we've been sucked in before to buying fast, when in most of our games it does nothing for us, teams sitting in negates it's effectiveness. He's not the messiah, no one's saying he is, but he'd be an upgrade on what we have now.

Ridvan and Cifuentes performing like that on a cold, towsy night at swinecastle is a big positive.

£5.70 isn't much more than your average city centre bar. Not really comparable though, price of a pint in the hydro or murrayfield is a more legitimate comparison.
