Can he play left-midfield?
-
Nope, nothing at all. There will be plenty speculation but I'd imagine unless we move on a Ferguson, a McGregor and/or a Boyd; our budget will be non-existent.
-
As per the sticky thread above, the only strong rumours I've heard are Zak Whitbread on a free from Millwall and Chris Brunt from West Brom... Nothing else concrete.

I thought we had one for every season nowadays - win or lose?

Yeah, the guys over there have been very helpful in promoting the report. As have a few other sites such as VB and DTB. Just goes to show that with a bit of polite communication, the online admin can work together to maximise the impact of positive stories.- 29 replies

I assume the guy got the info from the mass email I sent so he must have read it wrong.- 29 replies

To give people an idea of the response, we've had just under 2300 views of the report PDF so far....- 29 replies

I think Utd denied it. PS: Apparently Aaron is now away on loan to Racing Santander.

Think we had some Italian chap on before publicising his website... http://italiangers.blogspot.com/

Welcome to the forums mate...

He's a big nosed heifer! Jim!

Yeah, I'd imagine Tuffey would be a replacement for McGregor and Smith if they both leave. Can't say I've seen a lot of the lad but he looks a reasonable investment.
-
Bluedell could be right I guess. On reflection, Lee McCulloch is ample cover for Whittaker.
-
I agree with Shroomz and william...
-
I think it's more the case he provides reasonable cover for right back given Broadfoot will be out for a few months yet while Dailly has left.

Never thought of that... As long as it doesn't end up in the bin of either place after first read, I'll be happy enough.- 29 replies

I agree with QueensXI... As a Rangers fan, I'd love to see the passion and energy of Novo in the right side of the Scotland team. However, as NC says, his passion and energy would quickly be eroded as those with an agenda hounded him out. As a Scotland fan, I'd prefer we concentrated on home-grown talent and didn't resort to foreigners to supplement our squad. Lets persevere with the Morrison lad.

The media bias issue is one that forms the basis of many fans' discontent with the club - mine included. It is mentioned briefly during the 'match-day experience' article as I felt the ultimate result of all the media problems is that of over-policing and poor atmosphere. The reason an article wasn't written on it specifically was two-fold: 1. I didn't get one from anyone 2. I didn't write one myself as I wanted to concentrate more on issues which actually affect the day-to-day business of the club's future. That's not to downplay what is an ongoing problem at the club (and one that does affect the club;s image) but more of a strategy to use more more positive articles to enable us to debate the more negative stuff down the line.- 29 replies

Wouldn't surprise me mate. The loan deal didn't work out which is a pity as it would have probably been this coming season that would have really enabled both teams to judge the player's contribution.
-
I don't think he did too well against Hamilton at Ibrox in the cup but his style certainly wasn't part of our tactics so it's no surprise he didn't feature more often. One must remember though that Valencia recalled him so while we may not have put up too much of a fight to keep him, we probably didn't have a great deal of choice in the matter.

As mentioned in the report, we're not naive enough to think some of the suggestions have not been explored before by the club. Perhaps they've been discarded or shelved for valid reasons. However, one or two of the suggestions may not have been explored fully so it would be interesting to see what happens if the support at large are made aware of what could be done - or, crucially, what we could do to help. I look forward to the club replying in full so we can decide our next stage. :spl:- 29 replies
