  1. On his first half performance on Saturday, he is better than Kent. 2nd half I thought he dipped when Hibs switched Whitakker to    LB to spare him further embarrassment. However that was exactly the sort of game Kent failed to deliver in last season, imo, so signs are looking good.

  2. I see from @kerryfail that Scott Brown & Peter Lawwell are getting the blame. They don’t seem to realise, Dermot Desmond does the exact same to them as Mike Ashley does at Newcastle, ie only in it for a profit. I know they might need the Hollicom fund, but they have took in some amount of money in the last 7 years & paid out very little.

  3. The thing is, these media pr1cks continually delude themselves, and forget that celtic are looking good beating what are basically (in European terms) pub teams like St Johnstone & Motherwell. Fact is like last season, they have been k/o’d by a team from a stronger league. Of course the SPL wasn’t always so weak, but that is how they wanted it in 2012

Men players have been verbally abused for over 100 years.  If women want equality, they should be able to handle it too.

The GB are just daft wee boys, with nationality derangement syndrome.

That isn’t really the world we live in these days though. These wee lassies probably get paid peanuts, & call me old fashioned but abusing women is not the same as verbally abusing adult men.

This needs to be called out though. This group are dangerous extremists, yet seem to be held in high esteem by the SNP establishment. If polls are to be believed & independence happens, then the likes of GB chief Jeanette Findlay could actually be influencing govt policy soon. It happens in NI, don’t think it couldn’t happen here!

  5. It’s amazing how so many ‘woke’ commentators (eg Hugh Keevins, Jim White, Chick Young) who have plenty to say about bigotry these days, were around at the time, yet unlike Archie Macoherson never uttered a word of criticism at the time. Was Spiers around back then??

  6. Really p****d off on twitter today, all I see is Rangers fans trying to blame Kilmarnock or somehow pointing out that invading the pitch isn’t as bad as child abuse. By that logic any behaviour short of murder would be acceptable!

Those 2 or 3 guys on the disabled roof deserve a lifetime ban & possible police action imo, pitch invaders maybe a year.

If anything completely sums up Twitter though, its folk making excuses for behaviour from their ‘side’ while feigning complete outrage & calling for action when the other ‘side’ do the exact same thing. And not just football fans, but also politics, etc..

  7. No excuses for the behaviour of fans at the end. We’ve all lost it at a last minute winner, but I’ve managed to get to 42 without going on the pitch during play or jumping on top of a flimsy roof. Terrifying for disabled fans & dangerous for the wee neds doing the jumping. Much worse than singing a song.

That being said, I’ve always wondered why Kilmarnock have a rain shelter for disabled fans. No other club does, do they? No doubt well intentioned, but it must be claustrophobic at best.

  8. Let’s not be fooled by the last minute winner here, that was a terrible performance & worryingly suggests Gerrard has learned nothing from last season. Which means that we continue to sit in on a 1-0 lead against teams who are there for the taking, only switching into attack when they equalise. Lets not kid on that is a game we would have lost last year, We’ll drop plenty more points using the same failed tactics as we did last year. Every move breaks down when it gets to Arfield, Aribo is being played too deep alongside spongebob square pass, Ojo is a downgrade on Kent, Tavernier can’t function without Candeias & Davis doesn’t have the legs for our midfield any more! How did he get MOTM off of Sky I’ll never know!

  9. Probably looked a bit nervous tonight, especially Jack & Tavernier who must have been having flashbacks to 2 years ago. Arfield is no left winger & Kamara looked like Steven Davis’ understudy. Progres were there for the taking, especially with a keeper who thinks he is Barthez with hair, but I felt we were never really going for it. Just like 2 years ago. But the spine of our defence has improved, we now have a manager who understands tactics & at least tonight the travelling fans can enjoy themselves in Luxembourg city!

  10. At the end of the day, it was well documented last year that we were legally obliged to let Ashley match whatever deal we were offered. In theory the club couldn’t lose out either way. You have to wonder what bright spark thought we could just ignore this and hope SD wouldn’t notice. The same bright spark who reckoned Pedro Caixinha was the man to replace Mark Warburton, maybe..?
