  1. The chart you've just shared, ranks Rangers 15th, in share of points won, so if you take away the points scored, I would agree with you. However, the chart in the OP is a direct comparison of the teams on the list, as it is ranked by points scored (contributing to the country ranking), so the question as to why we would be ahead of Real Madrid on 'points scored' is valid. I have no idea.
  2. Thanks @Rousseau, as always appreciate the timer and effort you put in to the Predictor.
  3. No FGS points for me or did you just forget to mention it?
  4. There are no guarantees. Anyway, there's no point in reiterating the benefits of playing at the highest level in Europe, you know that. But we should always aim higher, and if we drop to EL and then to the Conference and win that, I'll be delighted.
  5. What crystal ball are you drinking from? How do you know we are not geared up for the CL? We have a new (better!) manager and coaching staff and (I'm going with a conservative estimate here) SEVEN new first team starters since our last CL outing: Raskin, Cantwell, Dowell already in, plus I estimate at least 4 new signings that I believe will be upgrades on what we had . It won't be easy to get there, and if we do, I doubt we'll be favourites to emerge from the group or parachute to the EL, but we'll have a hell of a better chance than last season. No. We should always be striving for CL level or what's the point?
  6. I'd be very surprised given, and if you believe it, that there is interest from several, albeit bottom half, EPL clubs.
  7. Odd, that you take someone on loan and don't give them a chance to play (or his two sub appearances were terrible).
  8. Glasgow City score with 2 mins of stoppage time left. It's all over for our women, but also for celtic. Silver lining perhaps....
  9. 10 minutes to go in the final game against Glasgow City, our women need 2 goals, with Celtic 2-0 to the good against Hearts. It's a hard watch, not a lot of quality on display today.
  10. neither did Walter, DA or Eck. So I tend to agree. What I couldn't work out is why @Rousseau agreed with your comment...🤔
  11. I'm actually a big fan of Fashions, I've blown hot and cold over him at times, though. . All the comments are pretty fair about his strengths and weaknesses, however what hasn't been mentioned is that he's also learning and improving. He demonstrated that with his goal on Saturday, he was in a similar position against the same opposition before and crumbled, this time he took a better route around the keeper and scored. Okay, just one example, but I really think he will continue to improve if he gets games and I'll be hoping he can prove his critics wrong and nail down a place in the starting 11. So, yes, he's more than useful, for me.
  12. But is it Craig? We've been here before, winning against a Celtic team already champions in a dead rubber, it doesn't win over anybody. A case of too little too late. But I do get it, there will be many who will want to see the team beat them regardless that the season is over. but I certainly won't be that fussed by the score on Saturday. I'd rather see some players get the experience and learn about themselves and what level they need to be at to make it at our club and I see that as a far more valuable lesson, even if we get tanked.
  13. I would normally agree but kinda disagree on this one. I don't want us to beat them, when they have nothing left to prove this season and our board thinking "well, maybe we don't need so many new faces this summer, this team could do a job". No wallpapering over the cracks please.
  14. Honestly, I would love that. We have nothing to play for apart from learning how some of our 'future star' can handle the occasion, or at least for those individuals to learn something about themselves. I use the term 'future stars' loosely, of course.
  15. So not many of our young boys can take a decent penalty then.
  16. I'm sure you said that in jest, but that would be a better way for all fans to experience such a partnership. Okay, you'd still have to offer the lower priced options but why not have some Gordon Ramsey match day classics in the food stalls in the concourses, and at EH for those that are willing to pay for the upgrade.
