  1. This motion is unstarred and held in chambers not court, the perception is that since it is a request for interdict TOP are requesting that king be brought to court in person to answer his contempt of that same court and the Law Lords ruling.
  2. GRAEME MURTY has this morning been relieved of his duties as manager of Rangers. Jimmy Nicholl and Jonatan Johansson will take charge of the team for the three remaining matches of the season. https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/club-statement-88/

  4. I think the bottom line imho is that Mark Allen has like GM, been promoted away above his pay grade, I see nothing that shows he has the ability, even his 14 years at MTV.
  5. Our DoF hsd no experience of being a DoF, Ibrox is not the place for him to be doing his apprenticeship.
  6. People can make up their own minds, I think the board are kite flying.
  7. You are probably right, but I doubt any manager on the planet can turn that team into fighters let alone winners when the chips are down.
  8. This will be the second time we have had a stand-in take over from a stand-in, amateurish and classless.
  9. Can't help with the detail, all I do know is that Murphy was SG's best man and is his best mate, that would make me go with Murphy before any reporter.
  10. Ex-Liverpool teammate explains why Steven Gerrard hasn't taken the Rangers job yet 61 Shares ROBERT REDMOND "I don't think he’s going to put himself in a position where he goes into a job with his hands tied in terms of the resources." Danny Murphy has been speaking about the speculation linking Steven Gerrard with Rangers. Gerrard has reportedly held talks with the Scottish club about becoming their new manager, and more talks are expected this week. The former England captain is currently the U-18 coach with Liverpool but is said to be interested in the role at Rangers. Murphy played alongside Gerrard for Liverpool between 1997 and 2004 and remains in contact with the 37-year-old. He has said that he spoke to him over the weekend, and his former teammate was happy with how the discussions with Rangers went. "The truth is there’s nothing definitive. He has had talks and they were positive. I think that's a good thing for Rangers," Murphy told TalkSport on Monday morning. "He’s got more (talks) this week. He’s a really ambitious guy. He always has been from the moment he walked onto the training pitch at Melwood as a young lad. He's also bright, and I don't think he’s going to put himself in a position where he goes into a job with his hands tied in terms of the resources he’s got to compete with Brendan. Ironic really isn’t it, that Brendan is at Celtic?" The former Fulham midfielder said that the stumbling block for Gerrard taking the job relates to questions about Rangers' resources. "I think he probably needs more reassurances regarding what they can give him," Murphy continued. "The only thing with that is, how do you get concrete reassurances with something like that? I suppose as a football club Rangers can’t be trying to get someone like Steven who is young, hungry and ambitious to go there and try and compete and sell him a dummy. You have to think there's some credibility in what they’re trying to do. He seemed excited, but without the confirmation of what it actually really entailed." The Scottish side lost 5-0 to Celtic on Sunday at Parkhead and had to watch their bitter rivals lift their seventh consecutive league title. Brendan Rodgers' team are vastly superior to Rangers and are on a much stronger financial footing. It would take an awful lot of investment for Rangers to topple Celtic and Gerrard's old Liverpool manager Rodgers. He is right to seek assurances about money to spend on transfers, but surely there are easier managerial jobs for Gerrard to take and begin his career in the dugout. Even for an experienced manager, with money to spend, it would take a miracle for the current Rangers side to genuinely challenge Celtic's domination.
  11. Will see if I can find them
  12. When this ends is anyone's guess, Gerrard is in Rome with BT sport, I have always thought his agent would be doing the negotiations anyway. After Danny Murphy's quotes yesterday attributed to have come directly from his mate Gerrard, I think this alleged deal is as far away as it ever was.

  16. Gregory Vignal hopes he can inspire the next generation of Ibrox kids after returning to Rangers Christopher Jack @Chris_Jack89Group Senior Sports Writer Gregory Vignal promotes the Rangers Youth Development Company GREGORY VIGNAL played his part in one of the most famous days in Rangers’ recent history as he helped Alex McLeish’s side clinch the title on Helicopter Sunday. Now the Frenchman is determined to inspire the next generation of Light Blueskids that are aiming to write their names in Ibrox folklore for years to come. Vignal spent just one season in Glasgow as he made the loan switch from Liverpool but his time north of the border proved to be a successful one as he lifted a league and cup double. His return to these shores a few months ago came out of the blue. It was a move he was more than happy to make, however, after taking up a coaching role within the Auchenhowie Academy. Vignal said: “I had a meeting with Mark Allen around October or November. We decided just to start and work with the academy as a coach. “I will be here until June and then we will see what happens. I am doing the under-14s and sometimes the under-17s as well. “I used to coach in France and I was an assistant manager from July to September before I came here. I have just passed my UEFA Licence and I have decided to coach. “We have a lot of good young players but they have to keep working hard every day. It is good the way the academy is right now and hopefully we can see a few young boys making into the first team next season. “When I used to play here I didn’t have a lot of interaction with the academy. But you see now that the academy and the first-team work closer together. “We have had a few young boys round training with the first team and that is great for their development. The young players see some of their team-mates getting to work with the first-team squad and it gives everyone a lift. They can see they can get there as well.” Vignal is one of a number of former Light Blues stars that are now working with kids of all ages at the Rangers Football Centre. The 36-year-old is still in the early stages of his coaching career as he looks to make the transition onto the touchline. He has already gained valuable experience, though, and his sessions could have a continental flavour in the coming months. Vignal said: “The way we work in France is different to the way it works in Scotland. The French academy is very good, but so are the Scottish ones and they have introduced the Project Brave scheme now as well. “That could be good for the whole of Scottish football. I am hoping to bring some new ideas that I have learned in France with me here and help some of the younger boys develop. I can’t tell you what they are, it is a secret, I will keep them for just the people at the club. “I was 19 when I went to Liverpool from Montpellier. I worked with Gerard Houllier, Phil Thompson and Sammy Lee and I learned a lot from them. “Even when Rafa Benitez came in for pre-season I was very impressed by the way he used to manage things and his training was always very good. “I learned a lot from some top managers and I think that can help me in my own coaching career. “It is my target to be a manager – I am just starting my career as a coach and I will take it step by step. Hopefully it will happen – it may take time but I want to do it. “I started my badges in 2008 and have my UEFA licence and my target is Pro Licence. “Hopefully one day you will see me on the bench at Rangers helping the team win as a coach.” *Gregory Vignal was speaking as he promoted the Rangers Youth Development Company and their £8k in 2018 Lotto campaign. £10 million in prizes has already been won in recent years and it costs just £1 to play. 17. He hasn’t complied, he has broken a court order, TOP are now secondary in relation to the court. And I would worry with good cause.
  18. Starred motions are heard in court, unstarred motions are heard or read in chambers, the QC's of the parties involved may or may not be requested to be in attendance by the Law Lord(s). The difficulty that we have is that we do not know the body of these motions until ruled upon, they are usually requested to enforce some part of a ruling or even indeed relax part of a ruling, time will be our guide now that the cut-off date has passed.
  19. I don’t visit tim sites so I have no idea what he was looking at, the warning is in the link I gave.
  20. No you found it on RFC site, which is the link I gave.
  21. Appears king has been warned by TOP for missing yesterday's cut off date for the offer doc, also is still trying to get money out of SA. https://rangers.co.uk/club/investor-centre/shareholder-centre/circulars-admission-document/
  22. He never said there had been no approach, simply said no offer had been made.
