  1. Chelsea offered more money....we obviously couldn't match it....that's life !
  2. Kenny's contract has ended. There's no question of dismissing him....he's gone. Wallace has a couple of years yet I think so If he goes we'll need to pay him off. Can't see how that is saving any money
  3. it'll be about travelling time to training and matches....they've got to do something.....maybe it's a community thing.... .I think the tims kept them alive , buying their best players..helping their pal thomson out.... but now I think they're toast..... I can't gloat...it's beneath me
  4. don't we all.....the fantasy of scoring a last minute winner against the tims.......... but the reality is moving around every few years living in hotels or rentals...... a 10 or 15 year window to milk it........some of them make loads of money, some make enough to keep them, some go back to being joiners like Colin Stein, ..or humphing furniture removals like Jinky lots of workers spend time in hotels.....it's a fuckin' endurance like on a plane journey....
  5. A 16 year old moving to London is got to be a major upheaval and you wouldn't wish that on anyone.....but it's the life of the pro.....he'll be moving all over the shop in his career, he'll need to get used to it you get lots of money but when you think about living in hotels.....Pena I think lived in Holiday Inns, and even Dick, never mind Gazza was in the Cameron house ...posh as it was then think of Kenny and Boyd in Turkey...Souness there as a manager........it's a shite life....
  6. nah.....all this against the club stuff is shite....they'll try to get as much pay as possible.......big deal !
  7. workers fighting for their rights......it's not a sleight on us.......these are professional footballers not supporters we need to get real !

  11. he's a professional footballer. He went for the money and quite right too.
  12. a lot of people are as much against fan ownership, as they were against the RST, Rangers First, and now Club 1872. Who knows what their motivation is but they've got a whole forum to spout their shite
  13. youth sides would be eaten alive in those lower divisions
  14. Kevin Thomson's sent out his assassins, allegedly lol
  15. it's started as a local schools tournament by some tim do gooder......a local state primary Carmunnock is in the competition as well. They won it last week

  17. fuck sake.....you've been watching old Kung Fu re runs
  18. there was a conciliatory SFA guy on Radio Scotland BBC there. He knows our guys and wants to meet to discuss things
  19. we're stuck with him until he breaks his contract that would mean turning up when his loan spell ends if he does, he might work his ticket or go for it , if the rehab has helped... He might see this as his last chance, better to burn out than fade away or we could bung him to fuck off
  20. Record linking us to MaCauley N.I. international and free from West Brom. He's 38. Anybody seen him playing ?
  21. I think you are being harsh. He made it clear from the beginning he wanted to stay in the youth set up and did us a favour by stepping in when he was needed. Frankly, we owe him
  22. RANGERS are to seek clarity over whether Gary Hughes had any influence in the Notice of Complaint handed out by the Scottish FA Compliance Officer last month. It was confirmed on Monday that Hughes won’t stand for re-election at the SFA’s AGM on Wednesday after comments in which he labelled Rangers fans ‘the great unwashed’ came to light.Ibrox chairman Dave King called for Hughes, who was appointed as an independent non-executive director in 2015, to be suspended from his post and for an investigation to be launched. And last week King launched an attack on SPFL chairman Murdoch MacLennan over alleged conflict of interest and non-disclosure issues following his appointment to the board of INM, a media firm where Celtic shareholders Dermot Desmond and Denis O’Brien have stakes.Rangers were charged by the SFA last month over their UEFA licence application seven years ago following information that was made public during the Craig Whyte trial. The Light Blues hit out at the action from the Hampden hierarchy and claimed that ‘Scottish football is, once again, being directed by individuals intent on harming the Scottish game, Rangers Football Club and its supporters by pursuing a course that has no sensible purpose or reasonable prospect of success.’And now the Gers will call for further answers from the Association over the appointment of Hughes and his influence on the Sixth Floor in recent months.A Club spokesperson said: “Rangers notes that Gary Hughes will not be standing again for the Scottish FA’s Board. Hopefully this decision augurs well for the Scottish FA under the stewardship of its new Chief Executive Officer.“However, Rangers will be seeking a review of the SFA’s procedures for such appointments because it is vitally important that those who do stand for election to independent posts in particular are indeed truly independent.“Rangers shall also be asking the SFA to review whether Mr Hughes was party to any discussions regarding the ridiculous Notice of Complaint brought against the Club.“Furthermore, Rangers must be assured that no actions taken by Mr Hughes during the period of his appointment could have impacted negatively on our club from FF
