RSA/RST meeting with the club?

Recommended Posts

I've heard a rumour that the RSA (Assembly) had a meeting with the club last week. Included in their delegation were apparently 2 board members of the RST.

There's a lot of questions about the current financial position of the club that need to be addressed and hopefully they would have been raised at the meeting.

Anyone heard anything about it, and what was discussed? I don't see anything on either of their websites.

Aye, did a bit of digging on this since you posted and I'm reliably informed 4 people representing the Assembly and the Trust met with the club late last week.

Would certainly be interesting to hear what was said as I'm sure there would be lots to discuss given both the Assembly and the Trust were extremely critical of the club late last year.

I don't have a problem with that usually as PLUS Market, legal and strategic stipulations may mean some of the items discussed can't be released publicly.

Isn't that the problem with these meetings. I'm not sure as a member of the Trust, that I agree with the secrecy.

Understandable but this has been the case since the organisation was put together. Necessary evil IMO but people will disagree on that so it is up to them if they can accept it or not.
