As for ra Bhoy in Corduroy. I would NOT ban him, it is what he craves most. Martyr staus is something he does not deserve. A couple of decades past, Souness banned the Herald's James Traynor from Ibrox and immediately he went from the back page of his own paper to front page of all papers.

 

The best way for the Club to deal with Spiers is to systematically take him on every time he pens or mouths his usual sanctimonious pysh. The Club MUST do this constantly in a most public way.

Pretty sure Walker has written a couple of tedious articles before - despite being mainly an English game reporter. Will see if I can find them.

Since the club will not, repeat never, do anything about Spiers, it sounds like he will be denied his martyrdom after all. That'll teach him, eh.
