You could see the point when Jim McLean was winning the league and beating the old firm, but FFS Levein - does anyone remember the last game of last season? Forget money for a moment, (meaning potential budgets - not manager wages) why cant we go for someone with a higher pedigree in europe? An up and coming manager who knows where to find tomorrows great young players around Europe. Al tell you something, Mykhaylychenko is not a bad shout, he's won titles at Kiev, worked under Valery Lobanovsky and must know the cheaper Eastern European market inside out. I've always said Michael Laudrup is my favoured option though, plays attacking football and is respected across the world. Both of these guys have links to Rangers too. Agree with you on Levein, Ive never worked out why we would even mention him, mcghee or any other SPL manager. But whilst Billy Davies isnt an attractive appointment he seems to get the job done.
