Why Bluedell? What does that have to do with us?

I think BD is suggesting if Lloyds/HBOS are NQ's bankers they may have contributed to King being taken off the ownership issue in recent weeks.

Muir has allegedly complained to Herald/ET management about Darryl King. 26th says that DK has not been seen for a few weeks.

You would think that Muir would have no influence over the newspapers unless Newsquest has Lloyds as bankers, hence my question.

Moving into the realms of fantasy, but why not? :D

Right, I see where you're going. Newsquest might well do some business with Lloyds, but since they're just a division of Gannett, I'm not sure how much, if any. The lenders are more likely to be the likes of Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase etc, although Barclays and Lloyds could be involved as well.

Bluedell, Lloyds TSB are indeed involved in business with Gannett, thus Newsquest as well. They're a documentation agent along with Suntrust on the company's revolving credit agreement with BOA which is 2 or 3 billion dolla. JP Morgan Chase is involved in it as well.

Thanks for that, Z.

That proves that Muir has a longer reach than we first thought. :fish:
