Hemed rejects Rangers

I honestly don't hold it against him that he's chosen more money and a better league.

But I really cannot stand it when this happens AFTER a player has espoused the virtues of playing for Rangers, how much they want to join, how important CL is to them, how they love our manager and want to play for him.

Why can't players just shut up unless they are going to make good on their word?

Unless he feels he could move on to one of the big spansih clubs, he shows lack of ambition imo.

Its the modern day footballer very much in the game for money not the silverware, you come across a few that don't care about the money but not so often nowadays.

I still wonder how No. 17 in the Spanish league can offer 15k a week for a player. Then again, we being shrewd isn't bad either. For, after all, the chap is young and only recently broke into the Israeli (sic!) international team. Maybe Mallorca is banking on a grand sell-on value? Disappointed with his statements on Thursday / Friday though. Looks like the agent had more say in the deal than the player.

Anyways, I did not get overly excited as I hardly know or heard of him. And as long there ain't someone at Ibrox or Murray PArk with a pen in hand, there is nothing to get excited about.

They were 4th or 5th in the 09/10 season. They went into voluntary bankruptcy that season as well. So they managed to get out of that this season. Malaga is another club who are freely spending but they have a sheik.
