The on-loan Arsenal defender - in his second spell at Ibrox - is currently out of action as he recovers from a hernia operation. But McCoist, whose side take on Hibernian on Saturday with the chance of going ten points clear of the SPL, is hopeful he will be back in contention soon to cause him a selection headache. The Rangers boss said: "Kyle is out running at the moment and looking really well. "I would hope to have him back just after the international break. I'm looking forward to that headache." "The injury was a setback but the big lad just wants to play games and it will be great to have him back." McCoist admits trying to keep his entire squad of players happy with so much competition for places is a tough task and one he must approach with honesty. He said: "I think that's part and parcel of management to be honest. "You have to make decisions that you feel will be the best for the team and the club in terms of picking sides to win games. "That isn't going to please everybody but as long as you know you are being honest with yourself and picking teams and players that you feel are right, that's all that matters. "I've seen it from both sides. I've been a player who's been left out and I'm a manager who is leaving players out so I can totally understand the frustration from the players' side and I can totally understand the decision from management. "My door is always open and there has already been one or two in it this season. Still, we can never have too much players available, especially after recent years. metlika 0 Posted October 1, 2011 Share Posted October 1, 2011 I was thinking about that the other he is going to find it difficult to displace Goian and Bocanegra. Goian does seem to pick up a fair number of niggles so he might get a look in but I feel he might be behind Weir....
