About to become the US goalkeeping coach according to the BBC.

When I was young I wanted to be a GK and loved Chris Woods. Anyone remember the red GK top from the 1988 season? That was my first Rangers top.

I wanted to be a GK too..... but I must be a touch older than you as I wanted to be Pat Jennings.

I remember that top. Woods was a top, top keeper and we have been blessed with them since his arrival with Goram, Klos, McGregor et al.

Biggest thing I remember about Woods, other than the fact he was bloody good, was in the 89/90 season he was injured by our very own Kenny McDowall on the opening day of the season, then got injured later on a couple of months later. Pretty injury disrupted season he had there.

Know who I liked but who I reckon got a pretty raw deal? Lionel Charbonnier.

Got French cousins they're all mental. I wanted to be Ray Clemence but was shit in goal.

So you were just like Ray Clemence

I only really remember Clemence for his howler in the Scotland v England game. Good keeper to be fair but that howler will never die.
