McGregor to Olympiakos?

Recommended Posts

I don't believe for one minute that McGregor would want to leave Rangers to go to Greece and the story is basically a pile of manure, but for what it's worth, Piraeus where Olympiacos play would be a really nice place to stay if you did move to Greece.

Neither do I! A bit of training in the morning and then lying on the beach trying to dodge that big bad yellow ball in the sky, covering your eyes so as you don't have to look at all those half naked woman wandering about you. Naw give me sunny Scotland and the Glesga burds any day.:D

I see where you're going with this. :D

Seriously though... there's also the bankrupt economy and riots on the streets aspect to consider.

Seriously I would think Shagger will be setting his heights far higher than the Greek league. I would imagine he will be looking for the EPL.

I'd say that if he did move, it would be to the ELP and Greece, no matter how nice it is, isn't exactly awash with cash at the moment.

If that's his only option, he'll be staying.

Says to me that he has good ability with a ball, also good at making runs but his team did not play to his strengths in that game, doesn't seem that odd :)

That throws up 2 scenarios:

1: We've been watching this guy for a while and know about him.

2: If he's new on the radar, how do we know exactly what his strengths are? And how do we know his team didn't utilitise him correctly? Could he not just have played shit?
