Rangers POTY for 2011

Right, a wee bit of fun in amongst all the fuss over this new legislation bill and poor wee Edu losing his car.

 

Who do you think has been our POTY for 2011? Apologies if I've missed your player out.

Jelavic was on fire between January and May. Naismith then was great between July to October/November.

 

Its hard to say really probably McGregor.

Naisy for me. Probably benefits from his spell of good form being more recent. Much like the POTS awards usually go to a guy playing well around nov-jan as thats when voting is done.

I was torn between Naisy & Goian. Chose Goian in the end as it has been imoressive how quickly he has settled & become a key player & fan favourite.

2011 as a whole hence why Weir and Whittaker are in it. Weir hasn't played this season but was awesome last season and Whittaker hasn't really kicked a ball for us either but was decent enough last season.

tricky one.....

 

My first thought would be a Goian/Bocanegra double. These 2 have come in and cemented an excellent partnership immediately & been a major asset.

 

I was also thinking about Wylde....he's a young player who has been given a chance in the first team. He has taken that chance with a firm grip & has proven to a useful addition to the team, and a very positive prospect for the future.....

Probably has to be someone who was about for the whole year.

 

Davis and Jelavic played well in the first half but haven't been great since then. even McGregor has been a bit shaky at times this season.

 

I'd have to go For Naisy.

Has to be Naismith, he's the only one that's been close to consistent for any length of time.
