New Rangers website

Recommended Posts

I noticed I couldn't get into the old one when clicking on a link from here. I got on this link, but they said they were updating it.

Maybe that's because I'm in Holland at the moment, but I don't see why it should be.

It certainly looks a lot less 'noisy'.

Our news feed from the official site seems to be screwed for the moment. It's still feeding us URLs that go to the old site rather than the new site even with the last feed that came in just after 5pm. I'm sure they'll get it sorted eventually, but for the moment there's news articles getting published on the old Rangers site that we're getting feeds for with links before the articles are even published to the new Rangers site.

I think we might have moved to a new media company, but I'm not 100% sure because I can't remember the name of the old one off the top of my head, but it's name is noted somewhere here on Gersnet. We certainly haven't downgraded because the company doing the new site also run the Premier League and Chelsea sites as well as other big ones.

PremiumTV. They no longer do our website.

It's much better - the old one was stodgy and the slideshow was way too quick. But the info is out of date, take a look at Naismith's profile.

Generally, I quite like the new template but it only looks good when all the ads are removed via a browser add-on.

It's annoying that some of the images are still stretched and/or low resolution. Really needs some more loving care to avoid being just another generic template.
