Should We Be Wary Of Administrators

Recommended Posts

If they have had two very good meetings with potential buyers why the rush for a cull. If there is also enough money in the dodgy lawyers account to see out the season then again why the rush for a cull.

Knowing how slow dealing with lawyers can be and that's ones who are cooperating it doesn't surprise me it's taking a long time to get this sorted we just need to be patient and try not to listen too much to the media ramblings.

On a side note I can't remember Motherwell getting a second 10 point deduction and it claims they were in admin for 2 years.

Deductions didn't come in until 2004 - after they and Dundee came out of administration.

Is whyte willing to sell? Even if he is, does that help the creditors? It seems far too early not to be taking action due to the remote possibility that a buyer can be found who will sort out all the creditors.

If there is enough money in the dodgy lawyers' account then why not come out of administration?

I would doubt anything will be known until the tribunal decision which seems wise, the day the administrators run things to suit the likes of king and radio cattolica is the day we can throw the towel in.

Kings thinly veiled innuendo against court approved administrators is what I have come to expect from him, someone will be along to tell me what a good bear he is, I for one don't believe that for a moment.

Doom mongers appear to be the flavour why not just let the administrators do their job as they see fit, time enough then to slit your wrists or better still celebrate, I think it will be the latter.

Indeed, it was a new rule brought in after that to effectively encourage clubs to run within their means or face a 10 point reduction if they found themselves in administration.

And we're the first Scottish club to suffer said reduction.

I actually assumed that GA was referring to paying people's wages (either in full or somewhat lower) till the end of the season, not any great bill or the like. How much money is stored somewhere is anyone's guess, of course.
