Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012

Recommended Posts

Between this new bill and what's happening to Rangers, this must be the most calamitous season for Scottish football in four decades.

You may be right, which is surprising given the bullshit that the Tims pulled last year.

PC is a weapon being used by the SNP against every mans/womans right to freedom, free to speak, free to think, something that our fore fathers fought and died for so we could be free. How sad it is to see it being taken away from us.

Ive said this for years....its not just in footballing terms but the PC is one weapon / tool used by governments to strip away freedom to think, speak, demo etc....If it takes football for some public to realise this then so be it but its happening in all walks of life.

I don't want to have a personal go, but can people please explain any anonymous links they put on the site?

It's worse when it's audio or video in general it's incredibly annoying. You have to consider peoples' work or people around them, download limits and if nothing else an explanation gives them a chance to decide if it's interesting enough to use up their time.

Its a link to the John Beattie show on Radio Scotland from last Thursday where he discusses the fact that the Bill was coming into effect that day. He has Stuart Waiton on who, rather impressively, disects all of the arguments for the bill.

So yes, definately safe for work!

We probably have twitter to blame for these shortened and coded links Cal.

The best thing to do when posting twitter links on here is take the hyperlink yourself first, then copy & paste the real URL, so chilledbear's link would be - http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01cj1pj/John_Beattie_01_03_2012/
