Very poor man management by McCoist by asking an injured player to be a sub. Usually when a new manager comes into a club at the start of the season one of the first things he does is bring in his own players. McCoist never had that luxury and had to stick with what he had. OK he's been there for 4 years, but his manager was Walter it was him he signed for, personality clashes were always going to be on the menu.
