You wonder how a football body comes up with a clear-cut decision about somesuch within four weeks, while legally trained tax people need half a season. May tell you something about the "intent" of the former, now that the club may actually get away from the doom and gloom of administration ... Did he say it was about EBTs? I thought he just said the SPL would be making an announcement on Rangers but didn't say what? They are looking at 2 separate issues. We did use EBTs. there is no doubt, However the BTC is aboput whether they were used properly or not. The SPL are looking at whether there is evidence of dual contracts. A different but potentially related subject. The evidence should be quite clear. If they find us guilty then they should be able to produce a copy of one that was issued and signed by a player (and proves SDM is a liar). If not, then they should find us not guilty. Did a weekend with the cup final, CL final, and tons more big sporting stories not give them enough to write about. Or was it that they dont want the negative Rangers stories to ease up. There is absolutely nothing new in that piece whatsoever, and to think this paper used to be the leading "news"paper in Scotland. How standards have slipped.
