Since both would be freebies and regularly off the park with suspension, we may need both, Gattuso and Black.

 

On a sidenote, people can look at the facts and figures and will find that while not scoring freely, he is very high up in the assist charts. He usually ran their midfield show against us and them. Given that our midfield had been seriously overran during our pretty bad spell, I wouldn't mind a midfield hardman with a football brain. And then there is always the chance that he can develop a little further in a different environment than ICT or Hearts. (Though our resident doubters will disagree.)

Both would be nice but i think a prolific goal scorer should be a priority.

But can we afford them. People seem to be falling into the trap already. We are fucked for years, we can't be choosey. The guy isn;t that bad

 

We can surely afford the players we already have more than one looking at coming in, do we not ? Black would demand a signing on fee plus his wages - I cant for a minute think that the youngsters would command a greater wage than Black at this stage of their careers.

 

As for other freebies - we should be scouring the market for a better standard of player than Black.
