Is Green trying to do Deal with SFA

Recommended Posts

no that's the bid. unless we are saying tbk offer they published was a fake?

Just cant remember those figures tbh.

Imo the figures from TBK mean nothing anyway, D & P spotted them as chancers who were never going to part with any money.

There bid included money coming from europe next season when were not even in it and on the basis of making the QF of the CL, a joke bid from start to finish imo.

Europe money was over and above the 5.5.

d&p record of spotting chancers isn't good I would suggest.

It's not about backing him, it's about giving him a chance in the absence of a decent alternative.

As I've already said, I haven't seen or heard a single thing from Green that makes me think I should just blindly hope for the best and give him a chance and how do you know there isn't a decent (or better) alternative?

Why are you and others desperate to condemn the guy regardless of what he says or does?

Regardless of what he says or does? I'm not impressed with him because of what he's said!

And a reason for trusting Green is that Howard Kendall, to name at least one person, has spoken out in support of his business methods - I don't see any reason for Kendall to lie.

Howard Kendall's comments and opinion are no reason at all to trust Green in my opinion. Howard Kendall is a notorious drunk and his main reason for having good things to say about Green is that Green and the board at Sheffield allowed him to spend big money on players.
