Twitter storm Exclusive By DAVID WYNN Published: Today at 02:27 FORMER Rangers star Nacho Novo was at the centre of a police probe last night after allegedly branding Celtic fans paedophiles. The outburst appeared on the Spanish starâ??s Twitter page when Hoops supporters taunted him about the Ibrox sideâ??s troubles. It said: â??Why uz no go home ya FB still have more history than uz PAEDOS hahahahaha WATP.â? The comment was removed from Novoâ??s official account after a furious reaction from fans. Some shocked supporters contacted police, who last night confirmed they were investigating. Disgusted Twitter users blasted the 33-year-old, who now plays for Polish side Legia Warsaw. David Hegarty tweeted: â??Nacho Novo â?? scum of the earth.â? Novo became a hate figure among some Celtic fans after moving to Ibrox in 2004. Sections of the Parkhead support even came up with a sick song wishing the striker would die in his sleep â?? which some Twitter users quoted in their replies to the starâ??s comments yesterday. Novo was not as his home in Glasgowâ??s west end last night and his agents were unable to comment. Gingerger 0 Posted June 23, 2012 Share Posted June 23, 2012 Although Novo has spent a fair chunk of time over the last few years provoking them the reason they started hating him in the first place is because his very existence is a total mind f*ck for them i.e. A wee Spanish catholic boy who loves the Rangers, can see them for what they are and doesn't hesitate to make that public. In the 20 odd years since Mo Johnston the uber scum at Cetic have saved their most extreme bitterness for any catholic boy who's chosen the Rangers over them.
