Charles Green's bid is to inherit Rangers' current SFA membership. Application hasn't gone beyond brief request so far: http://bit.ly/NwlWK2

The Scottish Football Association have requested that Charles Green submits the necessary paperwork to apply for the transfer of Rangers' membership to his new company by Friday.

The owner of Sevco 5088, which own the assets of the Ibrox club bought for £5.5m, has made a short, formal request to the governing body for their board to consider switching the membership from the old company to his newco.

Green though is yet to provide necessary information for the request to be considered, such as the details of the shareholdings of his company and its structure, a business plan and information to comply with the Scottish FA's rules on fit and proper persons.

The Scottish FA will not consider the request until any company owned by Green is playing in a recognised football league. The Scottish Premier League will not allow any new club to participate in its league, after six member clubs stated their intentions to vote against the transfer of Rangers' league share to the new company.

The board of the Scottish Football League met on Monday to consider any future request to join their league by Green, which would be put to a vote of its member clubs within the coming weeks.

Preface... I am NOT anti-Green.

But what if Green refuses to provide the details or, even worse, his consortium dont pass the "fit and proper" test ?

This could mean Charles Green is left with virtually no income streams as we will not have an association to play under. Would the pressure then mount even MORE on Green to sell the club AGAIN ?

I fail to see how Green could continue ownership should they not get granted the SFA membership. And all that will do is drive the price down even further. But we simply dont have the time for further selling of the club unless potential bidders have all of this information lined up and ready to go.

So if Green gets this wrong we probably won't be playing anywhere next season? Why has he not applied for this before now?

There are too many reasons why this COULD be johnny, the less savoury being that his consortium wouldnt pass the "fit and proper" test.

Shambles, from start to finish.

Administration part two is a very real possibility.

Dunno whether that is what the SFA actually wants, or what the reporter wants, but ...

Green though is yet to provide necessary information for the request to be considered, such as the details of the shareholdings of his company and its structure, a business plan and information to comply with the Scottish FA's rules on fit and proper persons.

Matter of fact, has such information be acquired by any (as in ANY) other Scottish club? Like from people behind Hearts? Maybe the SFA can show Green some of those files already there, so he know the blueprint for his documents.

The Scottish FA will not consider the request until any company owned by Green is playing in a recognised football league.

Now wait ... we won't get access to the SFA until we have a league we play in? A vote about the SPL is behing held on July 4th, which comes, according to my latest survey and rough estimation, after Friday this week. A vote about any membership in the SFL can only come after that, in fact, will possibly come weeks after that. How shall we prove membership in a league to the SFA by Friday?

The Scottish Premier League will not allow any new club to participate in its league, after six member clubs stated their intentions to vote against the transfer of Rangers' league share to the new company.

Was it 8 No's to vote us out or 8 Yes' to vote us in?
