Andrew Dickson, Head of Football Administration

Up until Murray stepped down as Chairman for the last time he maybe was, but after that he seemed like a different CEO. He stood up for the club more and unless he lied to the SFA, then he stood up to Murray over the Whyte deal, but it was futile.

the way he spoke at the ibrox disaster memorial was impressive.

their was an excellent article by Darrell king which outlined what went on.

essentially it was a boardroom vote on not meeting Lloyds savage cuts because Lloyds threatened to put us in admin by calling in our loans.

the notion that they wanted to increase debt was an internet rumour from a source with a vested interest. who had previously insisted Lloyds weren't running us.

aj and I think mb voted against the proposal to not meet Lloyds budget plan.

I've never seen any official info to say that's not what went on.

Yes, one of them said as much. Part of the board's last minute move for the club basically involved increasing the debt of the club to function.

Was that not Paul Murray's claim to buy the club ? That wasnt the board, just Paul Murray

Which was exactly why Whyte made his job untenable when he came in and led to the court case etc.
