I know this is impossible... but Bears not attending should boycott watching the game.... impossible I know, but they should, instead, pay the fiver to watch it on RTV on time delay.

No intention of watching. I plan a night of shouting abuse at a dozen or so provincial losers, though. It is disappointing to be back playing the shite of the SPL though. I do enjoy the variety of D3.

How do the BBC know if your watching? The only time to boycott is if you're one of the people used as a statistical sample with the black box which monitors your viewing. Otherwise it makes no difference.

I always thought that they worked it out according to electrical surges at certain points in time, for instance at half time in a game or during adverts of some crappy soap opera ? Is that not the case ?

no its done with viewer diaries then extrapolated.

 

though sky virgin etc can probably tell what your watching these days.

They have 5,100 tv sets with meters in them and then use that as a guide to haw many watch each program.
