In 1955 Jimmy Miller arrived at Ibrox as a center half but due to an first half injury to Max Murray during a tour game in Denmark, he was moved up front for the second period, and scored four times.

 

As a center forward he would go on to score 160 goals for the club .

 

So playing players out of position DOES work ? :D

A stunning article here from the Nottingham Evening Post from 31st December 1928.

The lad who was present at Fleshers Haugh is still attending landmark events in the Clubâ??s history.

Just to let you see how small the Club house was. This picture of the team at Kinning Park appeared in the Daily Record on the following day (1st of Jan 1929). No wonder they went outside to wash!
