We're top of the league, game in hand. We're going to win trophies the dim's never will and we're letting everyone know we aren't to be bullied anymore. I hope it's not. Sorry, but I'm one of those...ah yes handwringers. I'm also a heathen technically as I'm an athiest. i don't see the need to sing songs which denigrate members of a religion. Celtic fans, yes though . The point should be though, IDGAF what celtic fans think about us winning the league. The point with our songs is that we generally mean them as banter. Cynical banter, unsavoury banter, but still largely to mock them and get them into a fit. Much like other footie supporters do. Our problem is that the banned songs are something "against" a "thing" that may cause public bother, once it is being taken out of original context: cynical football banter. The Scum have successfully displayed and portraied our songs as such, hence the UEFA inquest and ban, hence the open effort against us elsewhere. They have soemthing to hide behind. The Scum, on the other hand, generally just "glorify" but do not sing that much against a "thing" that may cause public bother. For some reason though, that which they glorify is something banned and those responsible take pains to overlook this. If anything, I want them harrassed for their terrorist-minded, illegal garbage and support of illegal organizations and terrorist in this very country.
