Strachan to pick Rangers' Lee Wallace in first Scotland squad

Recommended Posts

The way Im looking at it is they are representing the country and themselves rather than any organisation called SFA. Duncan Ferguson spoke the other day about his regret not playing for Scotland and he believed he could have broke Dalglish's cap record, therefore if Wallace and other players want to get international caps then Im all for it.

Sorry,I should have given a reason for my thoughts. I honestly feel that there is still too much bad feeling towards Rangers from Scottish fans, we seen what happened to Black @ Easter Road!, I wouldn't want another Rangers player to go through that. Also my thoughts had nothing to do with not wanting Rangers players to represent the SFA,normally if a Rangers player is picked then good,I just feel he will suffer like Black, however if he is man enough to not let it affect him then fine. He is easily the best left back Scotland have.
