On a sidenote, a year and a half ago, you all would have probably only had one of the players starting yesterday in the first team line-up, Wallace. The rest would either be reserves or SPL-average standard (including Templeton and Sandaza, if you cast your mind to some of the comments back then) or, when it comes to the youngsters, not even on our radar. To suddenly match them alongside better Rangers teams of the past (who also lost to DU et al) and slag them off like there is no tomorrow is really stretching it. Likewise is the cry for them to "playing for the jersey" or calling them a "disgrace for Rangers". Have we all descended into the simpleton mode of your common football fan?

Make no mistake here. We should not accept bad performances from any Rangers team - and no-one does. But we should neither forget to check reality every now and then. We all have seen better Rangers teams getting beaten by worse teams, as well as woefully playing Rangers teams conquer better opponents. The world always continued to rotate. As it does today. The Arabs will enjoy their short lived success, only to realize that they are still also rans in a league of one. It was their best opportunity to get one over us and they did - IMHO more with luck than ability. We though should look at ourselves on here and ask ourselves whether we actually look reasonably at things. For a lot of poison has been spilled over Gersnet these last few months and despite emotions running high at times, we should not follow this path for much longer.

probably best not to tell people what to think and how to act. rangers fans are well within their rights be disgusted with the current situation at ibrox and if they want to vent their fury and anger then they can. harping back to crap comparisons from the past is the weakest of arguments.
